New, Just got a week old corn today!

Look UNDER everything on your floor. Pay special attention to the area closest to her viv. Make coils of BLUE painters tape and place them all along the walls. Seal off the room she is in so she can't get out, if she hasn't already. Look for her after sunset, and early in the morning, before it gets light.

I really hope you find her! That must be so scary, losing one that tiny. I hope you find her. Make sure to leave water out so she won't get dehydrated and maybe leave out a mouse for her. Good luck!

Thanks! <3 If I have water or a mouse out for her, I'll put it next to moist shirt with my heat lamp over it. Maybe then she'll eat, drink and then settle under it to rest. I'll update again soon, it's becoming night where I live so hopefully she will come out soon

It might sound silly but I lost a hatchling a few weeks back, I set up all sorts of tape traps, and never found her in them. A week later, I walked into my bathroom and she was laying in the middle of the floor, cold as ice and stiff. I put her back in a sandwich box and all was good.
So I guess, my point is, don't get discouraged if you don't find her right away!

How odd! Well I'm hoping the combination of the tape traps next to her water bowl, which I put on the floor, and the heat lamp which will hang above a shirt next to that will attract her enough. I'm mostly worried because my house is full of holes from an old mice problem it used to have.
My house is also now covered in a massive amount of tape traps because I got really panicky and frantic and just put them all over. XD

Well, because of the amount of holes in my house I doubt she is coming back. Luckily the breeder was very kind and reimbursed me, gave me a beautiful motley. I think it's a female, I'm going to try and candle her to check. Here she is:

Yup, I've covered every single hole now, and when I put her in there I watched her, since she is the best method of testing to see if it is escape proof, and she tried to get out but couldn't. I woke up this morning and she was still there, so I assume it's safe now

Never assume. You know what they say about assume. lol Now that you have a new one (cute BTW) I hope you are prepared to get another VIV ASAP since it is only a matter of time your next one shows up. he he he

I have all the holes in the top covered with tape (That is facing up so she doesn't get into it) and I have a spare tank lying around somewhere in case the other shows up ;)

The tape is inside the lid?

I'm not trying to pick on you, but this isn't secure. You need to get at least a new lid, or preferably a Critter Cage with a sliding locking lid.

I don't count it as picking on, I know you're just a concerned reptile owner :) I am willing to take any advice given since I am new to reptiles, I'll be ordering me a new lid promptly then :)
