Sure Walter. The pairing was an Amber Opal X Ultramel Lavender (Het Amber). So there is a chance this hatchling is an Ultramel Amaretto too.
Well I had no choice in the matter lol! It was the only male Amel Caramel Lavender I had. I see what I think are Hypo Ultramels at times but Lavender can be super tricky when adding Hypo into itVery cool !! That Amber Opal apprears to have a somewhat yellowish wash, or is that just the lighting causing that?
I tell ya bud, you defiantly are alot braver than I am, adding Hypo to Ultramel :eek1: I've always made it point not to just to keep from having to decifer between the two. Have you been able to see a noticable difference in a Ultramel & Hypo Ultramel ??

I hear man. I was just curious to know if there is an actual noticable difference in appearence of the two.
I would think the only way to know for sure if an Ultramel is homo Hypo would be test trials, unless of course both parents used were homo Hypo to begin with.
Thanks, Walter
