Snake Plissken

Hey, I’ve had 2 corn snakes living together (I know not a good idea but it’s been fine so far) since back in October of last year, which is around the time they were both born. I got them from Pet Co in Portland Maine and when I got them I was told they were both males, and the girl there did the “popping” and confirmed they were both males but she wasn’t 100% but pretty sure none the less. Anyway recently both went into shed mode. One shed before the other so I fed him while I was still waiting for the second one to shed. And about a half hour ago he shed. But the one that was already fed just began pressing his bottom jaw (mouth closed) on the one that hasn’t eaten. At first I was afraid he was going to bite him but he hasn’t and he just ate yesterday anyway. I can only assume that this is some sort of matting ritual, are they too young if they were born around august-october, and would he be doing this if the other snake is male or does this confirm the second is a female?
Like I said snake 1 (fed and shed) keeps pressing his head onto snake 2 as snake 2 runs way, both of their tails are shaking at sometimes (like a rattlesnake) and it seems like snake 1 keeps chasing snake 2 and staying on top of him, there’s a slight indication that he’s trying to wrap himself around him/her but it doesn’t get very far. Can anyone help me and tell me if this is a courting ritual or something else I should be concerned about?
