Oil slick snake!

It's Jager time!
Noir is possibly my favorite colubrid I own. Hes my silky smooth wanabe boa. I have adored every second of his colour change over the last 18 months...

To this irridescent black beauty.

Noir is looking good! Looks like he's got just a tiny bit more to go huh? How big is he now BTW?

He's mahoosive. Over 4ft, and I don't know his weight as I spilt a bottle of wine over my scales months ago and never bothered to replace them. I would guess over half a kilo... 600-700 grams perhaps.

He's absolutely beautiful, Elle! :D I can't believe how big he already is! That's amazing.

Oh wow! He's breathtakingly gorgeous! Might as well add these to my list of "must have because Elle's is pretty" snakes!

That's what happened to me. I saw Noir's progression thread, and I knew I had to have one. I've got one now, so the next one on my list is an Applegate Albino San Diego Gopher. (Elle's Giraffe made me want one. Go figure.) Not to mention the Corn Isle Boas and of course Siren.

Elle, I think you should just send your collection over to me. ;)

Wow he is a goregous big boy. Another snake to add to my want list, lol.

I know how you feel, my want list grew just from looking at all the goregous snakes Elle has.

I'm still waiting for my Isabel to be born ugh I hating waiting, lol.

He's so gorgeous! I am sure I would want a Noir rather than an MBK, if I got one.

THEN you gotta wait for your Isabel to start feeding. I promise you s/he will be more than worth the wait.

Noir is just awsome!:)

Thanks Deb.

I'm sure you would Nanci, they are just so much more fantastical. And they really do have scales as smooth as silk.

Very nice....always wanted to get one of those...

What you don't already have some? Shame on you...

I just love Noir! One day I will have either a MBK or black milk... or both!

Pshhhh don't get a poncy MBK :poke:

I know, more waiting. Lol, but when I get it I'm going to be so happy. I looked at pictures of some of Jerry's previous babies and they were goregous, definitely going to be worth the wait(and hopefully by then I'll have my new camera for lots of pics).

Noir is absolutely beautiful! Ever since I saw his progression thread I've kicked around the idea of getting one if I can find one within a price range I can afford. My local reptile expo doesn't carry black milks. But someday maybe I'll have my own Noir.

Thanks for sharing him with us Elle!

You should just go for it! You really wouldn't regret it :)
