So I have been working hard back and forth trying to adopt this cute fat large pony for ages now. I thought I had a chance in December when a spot opened up at my mothers barn...but saddly she filled it before I could. Then recently we decided to open an old pasture that had not been used in several years...and it created a home for a horse after all. I already own one horse...but I needed two so Lauren and I could ride togeather. So now she gets Rita and I get Sugar! I am super excited!!! We can finally ride togeather.

My mother has 4 horses, but none are fit for a beginner and most are not broken to ride at all. This will be fantastic! I got to ride Sugar 3 weeks ago and she is my perfect horse...nice and lazy! ha! All we wanted were nice calm trail horses.

Congrats! She is very pretty. I was on horseback before I could walk and have always been around horses but I haven't been on one in years and I really miss it. Now you both can have fun together!
 
Oh, she is REALLY cute and pretty! Congratulations :).

EDIT: After visiting the rescue page, I fell in love with the very first horse, there. She looks like a twin to the gelding I grew up with, and I loved that big ol' lug! Ahhh, to have land, money, time, and hips that would allow me to walk, let alone ride!
 
Congrats, she is so cute! I love horses and ponies so much but I have little experience with them. My bf's parents own one and I love to go up there and brush her, she doesn't care to be ridden though she will tolerate it lol.

When I was younger, I used to ride and I really miss it.
I have always wanted a horse but just never had the opportunity to be able to house one. I guess that is why I ended up getting into dog sports instead.
