Agreed, they are among the ones I mean it most when I say I wish they wouldn't transition into adult colors!
 
And opal bloods, too. I have a female opal stripe who stayed peachy and obviously striped.
 
When you have a spare moment, would you be so kind to give us an updated pic of this one? This is eye candy to me <3 I love opals.. :eek:

I've had nothing but trouble out of the lavender gene, even gotten animals from different bloodlines. I won't work with it again. I sent the parents off to Troy & Jarrett, so maybe they'll have better luck with them this year.
 
Sorry to hear that. I've heard numerous tales of troublesome lavenders...when I breed my opal male in a couple years, I hope I have some good luck :/
 
I'll observe them from afar, maybe keep a couple around as pets. At the moment, I can't imagine breeding them any longer, though.
