She's an '05. I think she's awesome, but I can't pretend that her degree of diffusion doesn't suck. She's 246g of whipping muscle. She eats an adult mouse every fourteen days. She's never shown a hint of aggression, but it's obvious that she'd rather not be handled.

Looking good Dean. Pewter is still on my list. Saw some nice ones at the show, but that would have limited me to just one or two purchases instead of 4!

That's a nice Charcoal, Dean!
Hey! Save it for Rich Z., buddy! *G-D bubble-burster, grumble grumble*

But seriously, hard to believe she's supposed to be the same morph as "Peter", eh? They look NOTHING alike (he's washed out LOL).

Yowza!! She's HUGE!! And stunning (even though her diffusion is so-so), but looks like she has a nice clean belly. Gorgeous colors.

Maybe it's the water that makes your snakes grow crazy Dean! I dunno. But whatever it is, don't stop, your snakes are always looking awesome!

Yeah, those Zig Zag Charcoals with the frosted saddles are awesome  guess it could be worse... like a sunlog.... :grin01:

I think bred with Peter, he has enough diffusion to make up for the difference....

I'll be posting a sunlog soon, LOL. My pewter male's name is Paul. He's got decent diffusion, but nowhere near that of the pewter male I'm "fostering" for Joe. But Paul's MUCH darker too. I don't think Joe names his snakes, but my name for his pewter is "Peter". ;)

Lol, darn how did you get those tubs mixed up... told you about feeding them all at once :grin01:

I find it amazing how your snakes are so robust on a fourteen day feeding schedule. Very nice.

She's getting so BIG Dean!!! She's still a purdy lil girl, don't pay attention to Joe!

That's it... give me your address... I'm sending you my babies. :grin01:

True she's not overly diffused, but her neat pattern makes up for that. And I love her slate grey color. She's a unique-looking snake (in a good way).

WOW Dean,
I must say that seeing your pewter is seriously making me consider getting one...or ten, she's awesome.

thanks for the nice comments, folks. :)

Thanks. They weren't ALWAYS on fourteen day schedules though. ;)

Thanks. That's exactly how I feel about her. :)

I think she is quite pretty. I like her name also...:) Hey, what do you have in the water there to make them grow so big, so quickly? ;-)

She looks really good! Man , want to grow out some of my project corns?
Thanks Stephen. Too bad you live so far away, or I'd give your project guys a shot. I could stand to look at some of your beauties on a regular basis. :)

Thank you, Paula. :) My middle name's Paul, and I've always liked it better than my first name, so I named my pewter pair accordingly.

I don't know what's in the water here. I have a few slow growers too, but generally my snakes have grown like crazy. I guess I have the equivalent of a gardener's "green thumb"-- sort of a "scaly thumb". ;)

She is gorgeous! I love the bit of zig-zaggedness (yes it a word... now at least lol) on her back! Gotta love the tongue shot too!

And please, won't you tell me what brand of steroids you use on your snakes??? (WG j/k)
