From the 3rd shot I want to say it's a bloodred...but maybe someone else with more experience with the diffused morph can help a little better.

Is the belly clear? (no checkers) If so it is probably bloodred. If it is checkered it is probably a normal.

Can you get a better ventral shot and a head shot? Is it checker-free? I think it looks like either a Bloodred with poor diffusion or a Normal het Bloodred.

EDIT: Zoogirl beat me to the punch!

There's a couple possibilities that I can think of. The first is that it is indeed a bloodred, but almost entirely lacking diffusion. The second is that you got a clear bellied mutant normal.

Looks like it might be a bloodred with very poor diffusion, or possibly the seller said it was het for bloodred? They belly looks clear of checkers and not all of them have good diffusion of the pattern. If you bought it as a bloodred, then thats probably what it is.

thanks for the quick replys. here are some better pics of her belly and one of her head. the back half of her belly is orangeish and fades to white with some checkering. whats ment by difusion. Thanks

from the topside it looks like a normal. Perhaps its in between both. I`m not a herpotologist but its a very pretty snake regardless.

She might be het for bloodred but odds are not a bloodred herself. Do you have your receipt? Is there any way to contact who sold it to you?

From the first set I would have said bloodred, but with the better ventral pics, I would say normal. Possibly het bloodred?? Or maybe it's a really weird bloodred- the dorsal color looks exactly like a phase Jasmine went through. It would be interesting to do a breeding trial to a homo bloodred.

I've got a girl that looks JUST like her... and I think she's het bloodred. Gonna try to test it out... but her "mate" is a 2008 so it might be a while.

whats ment by difusion.Thanks

Bloodred is both a line breed color and a pattern modifier . As a bloodred ages the saddles begin to break up. If your lucky by the age 5 or 6 you should start to see a unified color snake. The saddles breaking up or pattern modifier is called diffused.

I own a bloodred ghost but the proper way to say it is diffused ghost.

Thanks everyone for the reply.

Dusty, I got here from the cleveland show in may i'm not shure of the guys name. when you walk in its the guy across the eile on the left side. chris from BaReps. said it wasnt. the cause of this post. he said he new the guy and wouldnt put it past him to sell faulsly. the guy had two hatchlings. cant even remember what he looked like. was in a hury was getting it for a suprise for kendra. she really wanted a bloodred bad a she fell in love with this one, so i snuck off and got it for her. she is a beautiful snake I love the orange belly faded to white. I think I will keep here now to see what we can get her to lay.

Thanks
Eric

I'm pretty much with what everyone else seems to be saying. She has Diffused, but it just seems that she is either poorly expressing the trait (noted by here ventral), or is just a Heterozygous.
