Python Ban Last Stand

USARK says that there is no point for petitions at this point, the only way to get it over turned is to file a federal lawsuit, so they are asking for donations. To even start filing a suit they need $150k
 
I guess it can't hurt...but I am afraid it is too little, too late. Go ahead and sign, but what you really need to do to help is to become a member (and donate more, if you can) to US ARK. AND to prepare for some letter writing (much better than signing a petition) when the gov comes back to finish off the other species they didn't get to this time. Maybe this loss of a few species will convince us to make a better showing of support for our hobby / industry when they come back to hit us again.
 
I sent out a broadcast email to all registered members of FaunaClassifieds asking that they sign that White House petition. Close to 50,000 emails all total. I'm SURE my server will get branded as a SPAM source now... :(
 
Brett Bloom told me about this petition unfortunately despite being logged in (i have signed other petitions here) the petition won't let me sign or share it claiming i am not in fact logged in. It is also doing this on all petitions no matter how many times i log in i am apparently not logged in despite other parts of the page showing i am :( I will try and sign it again later maybe the site is messed up either way kind of irritating is anyone else having this problem?
 
Signed petition about a week ago! Joining USARK By the end of the week. I agree, signing the petition may be too little too late, But by not singing it.... it only shows that we, the reptile hobbyist, are unwilling to fight for our beloved reptile friends. It sickens me to think...that in as little as 5-10 years, there may not be a "Reptile" market in the US. I agree whole-Heartily with Kathy when she said "When they come back to hit us again!". Rest assured, it's coming....Boa's are probably next to go. The Following is a photo of an article in the local newspaper (Dayton Daily News, Tuesday, Jan 31st 2012) here in Ohio...where i live. People, we need to fight. Me,you..everyone..has the right to fight for what they believe in.... I suggest we start..and start soon.
