I've always heard that ruthveni usually have traces of lime green around the black rings, I have yet to see this :shrugs:

Mike, he's so gorgeous! I love how he's so red, and such a perfect white- so different from a lot of tri-colors who are a more orangey red, and yellow. And I love the ones with black faces. And the couple of incomplete bands add character.

Are you seriously trying to switch to FT? It's so much more convenient.

LOL but I find it so strange not saving up for months before purchasing a snake :p I could just go buy one cheap and I don't want to let myself get back into that habit!

Plus what could I do with a lone king?! I dunno... maybe you should post a thread with ALL your gorgeous kings in it to change my mind :cool:

Kings are awesome. I blame Mike for my king addiction, and you should too. He is the lampropeltis "pusher-man", for sure...

Mike's out there, hanging around the entrances of reptile shows, in his trench coat, and when he opens it up, instead of knock-off watches, it's lined with kings. "Hey little giiirrrllll, wanna buy a king?"

Yeah, I can see that it's more convenient, but I'm doing it more for financial reasoning! Be right back, gotta get some live mice and a trenchcoat! :grin01:
