Sierra Wave I ain't sure how these coulds form like this, but I think it has something to do with converging pressure systems from the two mountain ranges surrounding my area. Whatever...we call them "Sierra Waves"...

Thanks for taking the time to look! As always, comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated. The only way I get better is to hear your opinions, and I'm a big boy with thick skin, so FIRE AWAY!! It only helps me get better in the long run...
 
Great photos as usual Chris :) I love the sky photos.. You know we had some wave clouds today as well.. Was a bit dark though by the time I got up to the hill to take pics of them :(
I like bonding with animals :)
It looks like the seagull is checking you out too..

He was. He was making a bee-line straight at me from about 50 yards away...I think there was a glint of light on my camera lens that he could see...

There was about 50 or so 'gulls in the park today...
 
Hey Chris the photo's are Great! Wish I lived near a sunset like that everyday. I have to say I loved the mallard duck photo. I like ducks a lot. Just find them comical and they always make me smile/smirk while watching them.
So more duck photo's please!!

I use an Olympus E-520 with Zuiko lenses. I haven't sold anything yet...but I'm trying...
 
Excellent shots Chris. I love that last scenic shot with the mountains and the clouds. And the shot with the 3 birds...the birds really pop! Just great.
 
They are all great photos, not that I'm an expert, but the Eastside Sunset made me go WOW! Seriously, I'd love to have that on my wall :D
