I've been on a Year and a half Hiatus, I was in the hobby, had IMO an Awesome Collection of Corns... life happens & I had to try to save our house... long story short... lost our house, now renting one twice the size for half the price ( oh the irony & interesting how things work out ) We are doing quite well, my kiddos ( if you remember I'm the one with Quads ) are in Kindergarten this year but its the half day bull so its 2.5 hours ... so really next year I REALLY get to feel the sense of what its like to have Kids in school.

I've been doing the photography thing, I shot my friends wedding last summer in Wisconsin. Not really planning to be a wedding photog those kind of photogs can be sued... NO THANKS! LOL! I've been doing more of the Family/Children/Pet Photography as a hobbyish type thing.

Having more free time, doing the photography thing, & us now in a better place I've wandered back to the corn forums ♥ I hope to get back into the hobby this year, boy do I miss it.

WOW have things changed around here & wow the handfull of morphs that have pipped up in the time I've been gone...

Anyway, just wanted to drop a Hello Thread to get back into the crowd :cool:

Welcome back, Lore! I was gone for much of the time you were, and things were definitely different when I came back! But I still like it here. Some things are not as good as they used to be, some things are better. Just like everything else in the world, no?

Welcome back! Things have changed dramatically... It's hard to get back into the swing of things when you go away then come back (as I do all too often). I hope you figure out the new dynmanics and can slot into place perfectly :) We missed you gal!
 
Lore, really glad to see you back. I always enjoyed conversations with you and am happy to hear the toilet of life didn't flush you out the other end!! ;) It's definitely funny (strange) how things tend to work out huh?!

Lore! There's a Forum called Week In Review. In there you can find the 2009 and 2010 Years in Review! That would catch you up!
 
Welcome back, Lore! As others have said, many things have changed on the forum but it wont take you long to get back into the swing of things!

Glad to hear that the kids are in school at least a couple hours a day, even though I am sure they are a joy to have around all day ;)

I was actually looking for pictures of them to share, my laptop went :toiletgra a month ago and I lost a YEAR of my kids in photo form, I went NUTS... so all I have are those I uploaded to facebook & photobusket rar... which teaches me when one gets those random 50 4x7's for free coupons or for like 3 bucks, USE it for a ton of random photos just to HAVE them :awcrap:

ANYWHO... on to some of my faves of my crew

Halloween... also their birthday, they all picked out their own costumes except my daughter, my sister made her a costume she wanted, never got here (BUT DID GET HERE last week ironically enough... postmarked Oct 14... it was made big, guess she'll wear it next year... so she sent her an old costume she made for one of her kids for a play so she was a lamb)

not my favorite... but one of the only most recent ones I have of my crew as a group which I took a quick snapshot of them before I loaded them in the van on for the first day of school, not the best pic, but they are all there :)

Some Halloween Fun...

2 of my boys decided to be FCI's (Forensic Crime Investigation) for Halloween, Mommy was proud, she's a big CSI / NCSI fan :cool:

My daughter was feeling a little 'sheepish' when she was arrested for getting caught dipping into the candy bowl candy that was for the trick-or-treaters :p

My long haired son in the photos above who vowed to never cut his hair, wanted his hair cut when he saw some kid in his class with spikey hair... I was sad to cut is awesome hair... for Halloween I asked him if he wanted to be apart of the FCI team with his brothers... no he continued his search for that perfect costume...

sprayed hair and all... if you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up....

He wants to be a rockstar.

Favorite edit of the year... would be this one of one of my sons playing baseball in the grandparents backyard... showing how even just 1 child is just ALL over the place... it was a test to see how it would turn out... I had plans to eventually do it with a photo of the 4 of them busy doing various things in 1 big picture....

Indeed they have. They've grown alot since the kiddo's you've seen w/ Phinius my 1st corn bought as a pet (which I still have) They have grown up right along side him.

I don't have a recent one of them with him.... I really should. Good ol' Phinius is still with is thankfully, I had a scare with him when he went off feed for a few months recently, could see his spine, fresh kill got him back going, could not get him to eat f/t mice for anything... decided to give f/t rat a try... so, I found what he wanted.
 
I don't believe I was around until after you went on hiatus, but I'm happy you're back! Your kids are absolutely adorable, and I love the pictures of them with your snake! That's just precious! :) Welcome back to the forums! :cheers:
