A very deadly creampuff.
I'm absolutely gutted right now. My little female Uroplatus phantasticus passed away this afternoon. Earlier this year she had an infected neck bite from mating, which the vet fixed up with some lancing and a Baytril script. But it became reinfected off and on since then. I've been doing all the follow up cleaning and giving her the Phoenix worms she likes. I booked another spot with the vet for Tuesday (long weekend here) because it seemed different this time. I think I should have done more sooner. I don't know. I feel like ^&*%^
I'll miss you princess. I'll miss the way you waved your tail angrily when I misted you directly and woke you up. I'll miss the way you (hilariously) stalked your prey, which was in a cup and wasn't going to escape anyway. I'll even miss the frantic searches first thing in the morning when I couldn't see you in your tank, only to find you curled up on your corkbark, wondering what the fuss was.
If I had a 40, I'd pour it for you.:crying::crying::crying:

I'm really sorry, at least you notice some reps are very good at hiding stuff like that. At least you have those good memories. She was gorgeous

Thanks everyone. She was my fave Uro. Ah, well... the project must go on! Hard to find female leaftails round here!
