Ruby: Blue Bloodred Stripe

I took Ruby out last night to feed, and discovered she was deep in blue. I didn't have time to photograph her then, but she was just SO blue, I had to dig her out again tonight.

As you can imagine, the Queen of Hatelings was not pleased.

Oh my goodness! If she's that red while blue, she must be like a FLAME when she's freshly shed! :0

She struck at me multiple times, but only made me scream the first time!

Poor Ruby, disturbing her like that! I'm sure she'll get over it, though...such a pretty girl!

I can't wait to see how she sheds out. She just gets brighter and brighter. That's Ruby in my signature below.
