Down to 2 Corn Snakes!
After asking around for good prices I went with Rodentpro.. I talked the guy into shipping my order out on tue so I would get it today(thursday becuase I have baby corns that need to eat)) instead of them shipping next week. I ordered..
200 extra small pinkies
200 fuzzy mice
50 weaned rats

Well I got the box today and this is what they sent me....
25 extra large RATS
100 fuzzie mice

Oh my gosh! I had them send it out this week because I have 13 baby Corn Snakes that need to eat by today! Also my yearlings and adults need to eat today!!! What the hell I can’t even fit 25 extra large rats in my freezer. I emailed them! I wonder what the hell they will do because of this. There are no petstores around here besides petco. I’ll have to spend like a million dollars on mice! DANG IT IM SO MAD I"M SHACKING AND FEEL LIKE I"M GOING TO CRY! my poor snakes! AHHHHHHH

I’ll have to throw all my frozen food out so I can fit 25 extra large rats in my freezer. What the heck! I sure don’t have anything that can eat that! CRAP!
 
I would say wait for them to respond and definitely keep on them about it..If they say to send the order back, then whether their frozen or not send them back..Either way definitely make sure they send you the correct order as you did pay money for it..I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune..
 
Thankyou. I hope they will just say keep them because I'm not paying another $37 for shipping. I think someone got my order. This sucks so much.
They better send my order....haha. I belong to a few forums and have already wrote good things about them for sending my order early.....I would hate to bad mouth them.
 
I wouldn't wait on an email, call them! (812)867-7598. Tell them you have NO room for ex-large rats and they will be bad by morning and you want what you paid for. JMO :)
 
I let my boyfriend take my cell to work today.grrr!
But I emailed a friend and hope she can call for me!
 
Oh I did cram all the big huge(ex lrg) Rats in my freezer! But yuck it's gross...it's full haha.

I wonder if Rodentpro is working with Petco to take all my $$! :angry01:I'll have to get pinkies from petco later. This sucks.
 
Yippee they are overnighting my order. They are super nice people to deal with. I guess everyone makes mistakes but it takes nice people to make it right!

I apologize for the problem with your order as you did received someone else's order and was a mistake on our part. I have a replacement shipment set to ship today and you should receive it by noon tomorrow, June 6th. Please try to find someone who can use the extra large rats you received as we do not want to see them go to waste. Maybe a wildlife rehabilitator or a reptile rescue in your area could use them. Again we do appreciate your understanding and please let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Nice. I can't believe they'd want the mistakes back. Hopefully they can overnight the correct order. Do you have Craigs List, so you could maybe find someone who would want the rats? No sense in taking up freezer space with something you're never going to use...
 
They are overnighting the order! I'm so releaved!

Some poor guy or girl got a bunch of small mice and I'm stuck with giants haha! I'll probably donate them to the zoo or something.

Because I pick my orders up I always call. The guys are always nice and helpful.

Well, I think its a sign that you should a few boa constrictors, or maybe a retic or something. I know, get an anaconda and take care of those rats with one feeding.:punch:

Sorry to hear about the wrong order arrival. Glad the good folks at RodentPro are fixing it. And, just in case you're in such a pickle again, while it's best to feed on schedule, an extra day or two here and there isn't a big deal for corns. Babies do need to eat more often, but even they can get a late feeding if it's necssary. I'm not recommending underfeeding, but it sounds like you were suffering way more stress than necessary.

what are you going to do with them extra rats? my buddy [email protected] just got a boa and could probally use them but you would have to ship them but im almost sure hed buy them.
 
Are you in the Milwaukee area? We have some CS members in SE Wisconsin - maybe they need them. Also, Hoffer's Tropic Life in Milw. does a lot of reptiles. If you are close enough, and tell them your story, and maybe they will trade the big rats for ANYTHING else they have that you can use. There is also a herp society in the Milw. area - I imagine some members could buy or trade for the rats.
 
Well, that sucks on the mistake, but mistakes do happen! I doubt you've never made a mistake. The test is HOW they handle it! ...and it sounds like they handled it in a VERY professional manner. Hmmm, after all the nasty things you said/implied about them, too!

No offense, but if you waited to the last minute to order the mice you needed, I don't think you can lay ALL of the blame on the company that made a mistake with your order. Nothing fails like procrastination.....lol.

Glad it worked out for you, and that they maintained such excellent customer service.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I do plan on trying to give them to the local zoo or animal rescue free. I'm not going to try to make $ off of them. It was a mistake so maybe someone else can gain from it.

Fisrt off I never said I never maid a mistake. I guess I didn't write the part in this thread as I posted this in 2 other forums. I did write that they were super nice people and everyone makes mistakes. It's just sad that they are losing out on the money and shipping price. I never said anything nasty about them either!!....I was just upset because of the shock of seeing big rats instead of tiny pinkies. I'm sure that is understandable.
