Showering with your snake

Thanks, Nanci...I'm going to have major nightmares now...as well as a fear of showers. Hmph.

I didn't know you had more birds than Dilbird!
Milly looks a bit fiesty :)

Those bath buddies beat a rubber ducky everytime!

Wade, I applaud your wisdom and restraint in post #2.
I would say I lead a rather unconventional life...job-wise...and bachelor techno-gadget-geek wise. Few listen to Buxtehude anymore, nor read Dinesen. But I love them both dearly.
But in 46 years nothing like the original post (or post #5) has ever even crossed my mind.

This is Dill, when his leg was stronger. He used to love to get in the bathtub when I was soaking dive gear- he'd sit on my wetsuit and bathe! He'd also get right in the tub with me. Milly's gotten in a couple times, but he isn't as trusting. He loves to patrol the shower, though, and get splashed.
Nanci, those colors are beautiful. Violets, purples, lavenders, lilacs, blues, cornflower, della robbia. Yummy. I want to touch.

Eric, people with birds shower/bathe with them all the time. Snakes- not so much. People with parrots even have little special perches built in the shower for them.

I believe that. Have only had one or two birds. But birds have a pretty high high I.Q., do what they want, have a higher body temperature, and like splashing in water (i.e., do so naturally in the wild).

Psst, Lori. I just want to make sure you can find my truck in Daytona!

LOL! As my little one would say, "Holy Christobers!" Along with not bathing or showering, I'll probably also never sleep again!

Nanci, I'm going to go update my FB status now!! :p

Taking shower with snake: I wouldn't do it.
Taking bath with snake: Well, you know what snakes like to do in a tub of lukewarm water.

Cute birds, Nanci. You have some nice animals.

Showering with pigeons....hahah now you got me thinking. In anycase, I'm not insane, I just wanna train my snake so it'll learn to love the water, then I can take it out surfing! I'm not joking...

Riiight.

train? snake? surf? the?

are you some kind of troll, or troll substitute?

That would be the day that you would catch a bird in the bath or shower with me!! NEVER!! I've got goosebumps thinking about it!

As for bathing or showering with one of my snakes,um,not only would it just be wrong, but extremely unhygeinic as well, wouldn't it? I know what my snakes do in water and it's not something I'd want to be slip sliding around on!
