I'm not sure, but I think shes in shed. Her colours seem a little dull, like pastel yellow instead of canary yellow. And her reds looked more purple. Ah dunno, time shall tell. She just looked adoreable so I snapped a quick shot.

Shes got a fat tummeh cause she ate last night. Was only bothering her to change her water :p

Yep I thought so too... I'll check her in a few days to see if her eyes are cloudy. Sooo excited! Maybe she will get a green scale!
 
make sure to raise the humidity in the days to come. shed issues with GTP's is a pain to deal with, the skin really "bakes" on them and it's hard to get it off.
 
You might not notice dulling or bluing of the eyes. They never quite are as blue as the colubrids. I mostly notice due to lack of activity rather than their looks. If the humidity is being kept around 80% as my babies generally are, you'll do fine. Fuego had problem sheds twice and it didn't matter how high the humidity was. I had to put her in a tub with a wet towel and leave her overnight. After that she was fine. Never had a problem since.

Yes lack of activity thats it! I thought she was unusually statuesque recently. But thats why then :)

Humidity is 83%, perfecto ;)
 
IMHO you will begin noticing a shed cycle by coloration only as time progresses.
Admittedly sometimes after a while I begin to think I imagined the slight dullness and then she sheds :)
 
Oh my gawd I think shed dead or dying and having a bad shed?! ahhhhhhhhhh

Ok slight over reaction, but I am a wee bit worried? Shes managed to get all her head shed off etc, should I just leave her to it?

Keep the moisture up- and try and help her out by allowing her to slide through a blanket. The more you wait, the harder it's going to be... sheds really "bake" on GTPS

I have managed to help mine out and it turned out fine. You simply need to be gentle. Those who tug and force are likely to cause spinal damage- but snakes in general are not made out of butter. Sure, GTP's are more gentle than most, but you've handled enough snakes...
Use a hook, coax her unto it by gently prodding. Once she is on, bring her to a towel and let her pass through it.

There's no need to worry- it's hardly a big deal and it does happen.
