Siren: 08 Sorong chondro progression!

Gorgeous, Elle! She looks so beautiful! And Meg's snake is amazing as well.

Thank you!

WOW!!!! Siren and your photos are amazing.. What kind of camera do you have again?

I use the Nikon D40 with kit lense (18-55mm) and Sigma 105mm macro lens :)

Most Sorong types are pretty tame. Both Tempest and Barney are dog tame. Tempest is safe for even a child to handle. I trust her 100%....more than my corns in fact.

I am sure Siren will be that trustworthy as an adult. I have only ever let one other person "handle" her because shes still young, but shes never so much as looked at me the wrong way.

WOW! My lil girl is looking so beautiful!

You are such a good mommy, Elle! :D

Thank you, Siren says Hi daddy Rich!

She's looking wonderful Elle! I can't believe how fast she's growing... its only been a few months!

Meg, you've added a few more! I remember Whisper and Tempest, but thats it.

I know, shes bloomin mahoosive. Time for her new box very very soon :)

You can find cb (which means farm hatched/imported) for that, but not CBB. There are none under $350-$400 here. Anything that has any real breeding will go for no less than $800-$1000 for a baby. They ain't cheap, that's for sure. I'm lucky I know people now and that gets me better deals on stuff I'd probably never be able to afford otherwise....like Sparks and Lil Mutant.

That's what I meant lol. I would never buy a captive farmed baby despite the fact they are MUCH cheaper than say buying from a reputable breeder like Steve Fuller. I am so so pleased to have gotten my first chondro from such a great guy, and the after service has been impeccable. He has answered my every question and puts updated shots of her on his feedback site :) He really does care about where his babies go...

Oh, I found her--she's looking so beautiful!! BTW, your nails are a perfect match for her! I'll post progression pics of Serene elsewhere.

Bleu baby!

That seriously is the prettiest snake I have ever seen and i can't believe she is even more changing to do- gorgeous!!

It's almost like she's got purple markings.
I like the way the green scales have some yellow on the edges. Looks cool.

She looks wonderful, Elle!
Still can't wait to see her final coloring but ... she looks pretty cool, right now, too.:)

BTW I will have more (two) coming, to me, pretty soon.:dancer:

It's almost like she's got purple markings.

Yep, she does have those nice purple markings (an intermediate color) and, eventually, ... they will be blue.:)

Awesome! Im opting for an ETB instead of another chondro, I just like lots of different snakes and having lots of experiences with different species. It's always exciting to learn and challange yourself in this hobby, I thrive on it :)

ETBs .. nice snakes.
When do you think you will be getting one and which type are you wanting to get (Surinam or Amazon Basin)?

If I could afford £1000 for a CB basin there would be no doubt about it thats the one I'd have. However... £350-400 for a CB northern baby is far more in my price range and I like their smaller size too :)

I really like the Basins but, yes, they sure can have quite the price/s on them. Northerns are very nice, too, though.
I will be looking forward to seeing pics, of the ETB, if/when you get one ... especially with your excellent photo skills.:)

Meanwhile ... looking forward to seeing the next photo/s of Siren.:)

Oh ... and ... it will, now, be three GTPs (rather than two) coming my way (they are two yellow babies, a Jayapura & a Manokwari, and one female Manokwari sub-adult).
What I didn't mention, before, (when I told you about the GTPs I am getting) is that, along with the GTPs, I will, also, be receiving the female ATB that I was promised. Actually, I was promised a baby ATB (with best efforts at a female) but, instead, it is a very pretty young adult, or sub-adult, that is definitely female.
I am so ~thrilled~ about this group.
If not sooner, I should have them by March.
