Ha! You might be surprised. I've broken down tank after tank after tank with the dream of filling them all back up with snakes next time. I've enjoyed breeding fish, now my interests are taking me in new directions. Snake care is infinitely easier than fish care. :cheers:

Seriously! That's part of what has attracted me to reptiles. Weekly maintenance on my 120g aquarium is over two hours, and that's WITH the python water changer hooked up to the sink
Their energy (electrical) consumption is less too.

The reason I don't have fish...
The OP bought his original snake, returned it, and bought another species of snake, but in the last few days I have seen his posts in the corn snakes for sale area wanting to purchase another. I have some concerns regarding his intentions, but I think his original intentions may have changed due to lurking the posts here at CS.com. I know my original intentions were for pets, but now I think maybe, perhaps at one point I may breed. But I have better impulse control (though I tell you it's fading fast). I am constantly forcing myself to close the posts before I start pming left and right myself.![]()
