This habitat had some artificial cover and is a good place to find Coast Garter Snakes.

WOW! I love that red-sided garter.
Up here in Washington, we have some blue garters that look similar. They are only in a small area around where I live (Puget Sound); I love blue on garters.
Too bad we can't get blue in our corns!
 
Wow that is awesome. Where at in san francisco is that? Im taking the kids up there this summer and would love to take them herping. Those are some awesome looking snakes, great variety of colors.

Very nice!! I find myself growing more interested in garters as a whole...there are a couple types that I would be VERY interested in owning...I think I saw a red and black one somewhere...my two favorite colors!
