SOS Rescue something weird looking poss tessera?

Another small poop, barely anything in it but the little fuzz that was on the baby and something see trough... Her body is ravenous, leaving nothing to poop out.. She has gained 3 grams since her first feeding 2/11. Not a lot but if she gains 1.5 grams with each fuzzy, once I bump her up I should see more.. Can't wait to get this girl back on track...

All I can say is, thank goodness she has ended up with you.
I would give her a dose of Flagyl if it was me.

Poor peanut, she looks like a burnt hotdog! You do a great job with your beasties, I am sure she is in good hands.

Burnt hotdog!! Omg I laughed so hard- She does! That poor baby. She's going to look amazing though with the proper care she's now getting. I'm looking forward to her before and after photos!

Thank you guys... She gave me small but two normal poops this week and some urate.. The poops looked nice.. but she clearly can't digest super well still.. it is poop but the little fur that is on the baby babies is not digested as it is with the snakes that are well. Until that happens I am not bumping her eating up...

Ronald once she gets a little more stable I might de worm her depending on what her fecal says... I don't like pushing medicines in unless needed.. But once belly gets a little more stable fecal sample to the Dr will go.. I got an awesome reptile vet who is really supportive of what I do..

Right now I am working on a spider ball that is suffering.. It will be an expensive spider ball and I don't even like ball pythons but I can't let the poor snake suffer either...
I am hoping the owner will take responsibility but it's cheaper to give the snake away and buy a new one that is the sad part.. HATE HUMANS....

She has however gained 4 grams in 2 weeks, so small progress...

Here is the poor spider ball..

yeah... seems to be a bad case too... The vet thinks she will be fine with double dose antibiotics and some care but the estimate is about 200 and if she needs a second round 400 if she needs surgery which I suspect she may i don't know.. but then at least i can get the poor thing humanely euthanized.. right now the kid is just sitting on her giving her away for free in a forum and on CL... it's cheaper to buy a new one than fix this one :(

Ok, she is BLUE!!!!! you can tell now she has old skin stuck on her, her eyes are SOLID blue. I soak her every day (except feeding and two after), she ate Saturday, and is 141 grams (she was 128). She hasn't pooped since Thursday last week so I am sure 5 grams is poop, she was 134 empty.. (never thought Id estimate poop in a snake). She was a bit more nervous now when completely blind but trusted me. very good little snake.. I can't wait to see her in better shape. she also got a hopper this Saturday so she is upped on her prey size. Keep fingers crossed that I get everything off of her when it comes off.. I did put in a couple of rocks in her bin so she can rub herself properly if that makes sense and I put a towel over one side so Im upping humidity for the next few days... she is still enjoying her heightened bask spot as well and she will cruise for food between feedings which makes me happy to see as it is a natural snake behavior. My vet said that if she has issues getting this shed off it will be surgery to help her next as she is stuck in two layers as it seem...

Wow, poor little girl. I've been watching this and hoping for the best! Hope her shed comes off clean - it does look like her skin was burnt on and she couldn't shed.

Thank you guys... Im nervous... and yes the vet is concerned regarding the scars and the skin coming off from that area... If anything gets stuck he told me to do the towel trick you guys have mentioned if I still have issues to bring her in and he will remove and show me how to do it because chances are it will happen every time she goes into shed and doing it wrong can make it worse.. Not easy being a wittle snake people didn't take proper care of :(

Ok she has gone clear... and now we wait... I found a huge poop they normally do after shed, I hope it means nothing... it was a little lighter than I'd like (but maybe color doesn't matter in the corn world in the dog world light poop = less nutrients taken from the food) but very mushy and well digested, since this was a little bit bigger meal i was worried about the digestion capacity too but she did well... Her systems are starting to work normally which is nice to see.. Now I just have to wait and see how the shed goes.. it's a nail biter..

SHE SHED!!!! and it was almost perfect!!! Pictures follow soon!! I love my Dr all the tips he gave me helped as a precaution... I've been so worried, to see the shed today... *sniffles* it just got a little stuck around her back end so the scale was poking out a little it got stuck on my furniture when I was taking pictures but lord Im so relieved and happy... and she's looking better a lot better.. her eyes still look wonky (I really thought she had retained caps) but that's just how they look like I got a close up, the eye is almost amber merle with black... Took me 150 pictures to get that one... lol So today Ill feed her again and she made a second nice poop! She is on her way to improvement <3

So it looks like it was only one skin but it must have been there for a while the way it was looking or maybe the scars made it look worse.. you can see the scars in the shed... the scales how it's formed..

This is what Im talking about, it looks like there is still something over this eye despite the eye cap came off, or is her cornea you think permanent damaged?

Poor baby! So glad she's found her way to you! There is definitely something off with her eyes. They are both an odd color but the one has a normal looking pupil, as far as I can tell. However, I would not be surprised if she is blind in the other eye, the colors are very odd in that one and the pupil looks nearly non existent. Hard to say if they were damaged or how they might have been damaged though.

I agree that her eyes could be damaged inside. She sure looks a lot better... I wonder if the burnt look is part of her colouring or if it's scars from being burnt.

Remember that the only blind snake is one without a tongue! She's already looking so much better. Her eyes are very interesting; I haven't ever seen anything like that.

Yeah I am not sure what is going on but both me and the vet thought that it was retained shed... but it isn't... so now Im unsure and I haven't emailed him yet...

and no it is burn marks not her markings.. I was going to take pics of the shed, but I was a dumbass and put it on my monitor cage and he dragged it in and tore it to shreds somehow he got hold of it with his claws..

But in the sheds you see mini scales/healed over patches unless that is how they are supposed to look like.. I will take pics of next shed.. Im thawing her dinner now I was at work all day...

I am happy she's looking better though, just curious regarding her eyes... but I am starting to feel that she will be ok.. <3 I am very happy.. she's such an awesome little snake.. can't wait to get some more weight on her!
