And THEN there was the thread about the peach hypo...you know that pretty snake that he has no earthy idea how he created because he has no interest in genetics.....but you better let HIM name the morph because its HIS HIS HIS and otherwise he will pitch a fit....QUOTE]

sorry I know all the genetic morphs that went into the project It is you that was confussed. What is so hard to understand a hyop lavender bloodred that was het for anery A was crossed to a amber het for amel. The only thing that is a problem is that there might be two hypos involved and I said that Rich humes and me came up with name peach. Nobody has the right to tell Rich and me cant call it what we want . There you go ranting agin pulling bits and peaces of a story and comming up with your own story

that was NOT my post, but I could have written it..... talking about making up your own story....

Yes, you knew the morphs in the project but not in the peachy snake, but you already tried to claim a name for it.... MAYBE you understand genetics, but you sure not use the knowledge for well thought projects.... just put some nice colored snakes with loads of hets together and hope some odd looking corn pops up, is not considered a well thought project...

your anolgy is of a 5 year old you make no sense Now was she involved in the dig and got hurt and that was not her field that is one thing . how do you compare a animal a living organism that can attack you a inanimate object.

She wasnt a NASCAR driver...she got killed in a car. Freak accident.
Steve wasnt an oceanographer...got killed by a ray he never touched...freak accident.
GET IT????????????????? Or do you need allll your dots connected for you?

Oh all of a sudden the bold Vinman is afraid to make bold declarations. Everything you have said has implied that the reason Steve Irwin died was because he "touched" nature end of story.
Exhibit A:

I rest my case, your Honor.

that right his hands on approach is what got him killed, I never said he touched the sting ray. only that he hubbarded over it

Sorry they are not pets I dont play with them , Again you are missinformed

Pet does not mean that you play with an animal.... you did understand the guinnea pig part I hope? :puke01:

Im sorry but if he never touched it how is it considered a hands on approach..you just said it yourself he never touched it..

this is why I agree with Cousteau in not touching nature. Like he said he has been doing it for 61 years and dont touch dangous animals. That is why he is still alive . this is what you call a smart man.

Here is another....you said Cousteau is alive because he didn't touch nature...Steve didn't touch the stingray either..you said it yourself..It was a freak accident..get over it and yourself

knowing steve what would have been the next move . you and I know what it would have been. Like I said he should have approached it from the side and let the ray know was up insted of startling it. He had to be close enuff to get stabed right .

:-offtopic I was obviously a total nerd as a kid, Cousteau was one of my heros. Even with a ropey old black and white tv, I'd be glued to the screen for his programmes, and had the full set of tea-bag cards about his work

Is that kinda like Mother Hubbard?

To me this isn't just lightening the mood, it illustrates an excellent point. How can I be expected to take someone seriously when there is such a fundamental lack of intelligent communication on their part?

well to me they are no pets they are collectables. I have fun breeding them to see what I can produce and it is a business. simple as that . I got over having a snake as a pet. when you have as many as I do they arent pets anymore. I have tropical fish the arent pets to me. I dont play with them. Y ou are right in a sense I do take care of them.
Now what did you expect me to expermint on . I used my snakes that is what I trying the diet on it sure dont make any sence to try it on a mouse if I 'm gona use the diet on snakes.

Was she in a NASCAR race NO again your analogy makes no sense . A stone slab fell on her as they were doing road work as she was driving past . god cant you make some bit of sense .

I also found very interresting and allways hoped it would last longer. I could not wait for the next show.

NASCAR drivers are PROFESSIONAL drivers who make a LIVING driving cars.
So a non professional driver getting killed in a freak accident IN HER CAR is the same as a non professional oceanographer getting killed by a ray IN THE OCEAN. You said Irwin should not be out of his element because he wasnt a professional. By the same token a non professional driver who dies in a freak accident does not belong behind the wheel,,,,in vinman's world. You really DO need your dots connected, don't you?

No, because for your analogy to make sense see she would had to be in a NASCAR race . Now where in the history of NASCAR do the have a race where there is road construcion. She had a slab fall on her she did not get into a car accident with another car. You need to connect your dots because you cant even make a correct analogy . steve was not just swimming by and got stung out of the blue. He was filming a underwater seen for a nature show. He was out of his element, so he got stung approaching the sting ray by being over it on purpose.

Wow...

Since I'm the originator of this post I guess I should mention that I guess I never dreamed that there'd be this many replies to this, and it surely doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who the last 3 pages are blasting at, hehe! I originally meant this to be a memorial post but I have to admit I've gotten some education out of it to say the least, to the positive replies, Hooray!, to the negative replies, (and we know who that is), Boo! You need some education yourself... Thanx for the positive replies here! Sincerely, Marshall P...

Of course you'd have to try a new snake diet on snakes, but you just should not test anything on your snakes at all if not necessary..... that is the point made. They cannot tell you if they get a deficiency of some vitamin or mineral which will effect their health their whole lives. You don't use animals, pets or not for your own hobbyist experiments....

You have an idea what the peach hypo is, but do not feel like test breeding it cause its genetics do not interest you, as long as they are reproducable, you said that yourself.

Let's see....
Steve Irwin saved animals....and that's badddddddd
Vinman uses animals to experiment and risks the health of animals that depend on him......and thats good????

Let's face it, The vinman is a cartoon character. I have a problem believing that anyone with an attitude like this can even survive in the real world.

Or maybe, the way the real world reacts to his unpleasantness accounts for his attitude.

It's like a chicken/egg thing!!

You have to try it out to see if it works so I use my own animals . trying it out on 2 or 3 animals wont give you the results that you want. I used it for about 2 bto 2 1/2 years. Some of the snakes werent doing as well as I liked some femals werent producing good clutches young snales werent growing at the rate they should I gave it a shot and by it self was not a good diet when used with mice it works fine

yes as long as they are reproducable why I should care . soon all my snakes will be corn soup . and when I get new morphs. I will bred them to eachother to see I can reproduce it. Now if you like to know the genetic make of a morph thats your bag , cool, If thats what you are into. Some people want to know what genes are in a new color morph because they are too cheep to buy it. They want to know what genes are in the new morph so they can breed it them selfs. I had a long talk with Rich Z about this. I agree with him about keeping what makes a new color morph to yourself. Soon when I produce stuff I will not be discloesing what went into making the new morph. You see that in the flowers and the tropical fish industry. They dont tell eachother how they came up with a new color morph till years down the road after someone else figure it out and they allready sold them for a few years.
