The difference is that if I don't know the genetics, then I don't know what to do with the snake beyond making more of the same morph. If I pick up a pair of "morph X" snakes, what other females in my collection are going to be compatible with the male? This is unacceptable to me. And if you can't tell me what the snake's genetics are, then I'm not going to pay much for it no matter what it looks like.

I highly doubt the 'what it is' will matter much if the ads can't be decerned....

befor I started tring the new diet I calld the reptile house at the Bx Zoo and talked to the Bill Hollstrom. He told me it might work and to try it, that there bigest burm on display was feed supermarket chicken . and I should cook the chicken before I feed it to my snakes. so I did . The chicken sold here in the states is allready cleaned no guts in side besides the gilbets which feed to my animals too

The fact that you thought that could be a good bit of advice shows how little you actually know. If you really are so cheap as to compromise the health of your animals to save money, then perhaps we should do a fund-raiser for you...

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I've officially grown bored with this thread. I'm washing my hands of it and not posting anymore. I don't think a single word more needs to be said on the subject. Vinman has exposed his true colors time and again, and it no longer needs my pointing it out. Anyone reading his posts can see the utter lack of decency, tact, and often intelligent communication (be it a lack of factual information or what have you). It makes me cringe to see his spelling and grammar errors. A phrase such as:

...is a complete joke. How can one take you seriously when you can't compose a simple sentence?

So, Vinman, I hope you make a million dollars selling all the new mystery snakes you'll soon be creating. I'm sure I'll see you on the cover of Time magazine or USA Today when you cut a huge check to Habitat for Humanity or whatever your favorite charity might be. I'm sure I'll see you around other threads on the forum


Now I have to get back to the important things in life like 2 1/2 days of non-stop studying so that I can pass two major exams I have next week.

Starsevol, Cousteau is a highley respected oceanographer in the scientific community. Steve was a showman. Two diffrent things. Cousteau is a professional . Steve catered to the average joe. Jean and his father have helped in the study of marine life with scientific study and data. It is a shame that you cant watch anything that is interllectual and your only interest is stimulated by someone's comic antics. I'm sure that you would not be unable to hold a conversation with a scientist that would stimulate his brain. You see that is where you and me differ. I may not spell good at all , but that dont take away from my verbal skills. I talk to scientist on many occasion's that work with animals and pathogen's ( diseases in humans, reptiles and tropical fish.) Three of my friends are scientist,and I have deep interllectual conversation with them .
I cant help that you cant comprehend the diference between a accomplished oceanographer and a buffoon.

There's so much of Vinman's "writing" that I take offense to that I really don't know where to start. So I will start with the most offensive and work backwards.

Who exactly is fronting the bills for wildlife conservation? Is it the highly educated, highly touted researcher at Cornell? No, it is the "average Joe's" of the world. Those are the people we need to reach, because these are the people that do NOT know these animals, and in fact, are actually afraid of these animals and would do them harm rather than VOTE to spend money to protect them, or even spend their own hard-earned cash.

So to me, 14 years of capturing the attention of the "average Joe's" has done more than 40+ years of providing documentaries of interest only to people who already love the oceans and their animals.

It is a shame that you cant watch anything that is interllectual and your only interest is stimulated by someone's comic antics. I'm sure that you would not be unable to hold a conversation with a scientist that would stimulate his brain.

Again, the average American is not going to sit down and watch a traditional wildlife documentary. Call that what you will, it is THE TRUTH. The only way to reach these people's hearts and minds and WALLETS is to give them a show that captures their attention and interest, and Steven Irwin did that over and over and over again.

I am, however, glad that you have risen above the mediocrity of American society in this case and hope that you will do so with your grammar and spelling issues soon.

This is especially true seeing as how we have a SPELL CHECK feature that COULD be used to correct these errors, but you are either too lazy or too incompetent to utilize this. Or maybe you are just not bright enough to figure it out.

Either way, not the kind of person I can see a serious scientist taking seriously.
