David, I think she is a very interesting looking snake. I wouldn't say beautiful(just because of my OWN personal tastes)but very interesting to look at. I'm glad she's doing so very well with you. I know this is something you really wanted and I'm happy that you are having a good expierance with her. Good luck with her!

Now I don't even know what you're talking about... I must have missed something, somewhere... I haven't seen any threads started about a certain members criticisms.

As well...this entire topic has been about King Ratsnakes. That's on topic, ain't it? I didn't know we could only say, "Gorgeous snake! Great Job!" or else it was off-topic...
 
Jim I understand where you are coming from I will be college bound froom home. I am gonna go to a community college and get a biology degree, then transfer to GMU which is a 20 minute drive from my house. My mom has also told me she will care for em. She has a Degree in Biology and lived on a farm until she married my dad. My grandparents also help. My grandma was a well respected Wildlife rehaber in VA and my grandpa was in very high level Agriculture (he worked with the secretary of agriculture)

Oh, I get it. I'm slow sometimes. My "David vs. World" suggestion was a joke. I DO NOT actually advise anyone to form such a social group. It would only be deleted.

All in fun David...as you can see, the one comment I made towards the bickering that is taking place here was not nearly as "mean" as I used to be towards you.
I think it is a cool snake, and I sure do hope that it stays sweet for you, but if it doesn't....atleast you had plenty of fair warning :D

I really do congratulate you on having what appears to be a fairly docile king rat. And I do wish you good luck.

I also hope you understand why I took you quoting me as an insult. And you should know by now that I don't let things like that fly. Perhaps I should but...I just can't do it.

Regardless...Good Luck. Have Fun. And please...don't become complacent...in her care or in YOUR care with handling her. Even docile snakes have bad days...
 
Thanks chris. I schould not have gone into that and quoting you was wrong to do. I was kidding around but it was wrong. Asian rat snakes tend to have mood swings in different temperatures and cage sizes. They are very complex and it is my mission to learn all I can about them
