The official "Movies so bad they are great!" thread!

Made specifically for this purpose, I'll be the guy to add "Wayne's World". "It's like people only do things because they get paid, and that's just really sad".

I would like to shed some more light on "Red Dawn". Who cant idolize a bunch of 80's kids beating on some soviets and Tagging the destroyed wreckage with "Wolverines". I just wonder if that was there high school name. I I was in the red army I would defiantly shaking in my communist combat boots.

O yeah, and who could forget. Urinating in the radiator, way to go Patrick!

Arachnophobia has to be on the list as well as Starship Troopers 2, Smokey and the Bandit 3, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Weird Science.

A few that some people just don't get but which I think are some of the best movies in the history of moviedom are Raising Arizona, Zorro The Gay Blade and Hot Fuzz.

"Say, who wears the pants around here, H.I.?"

I watched Hot Fuzz four days ago, for the first time, that movie was stinking great.

If you liked hot fuzz, you need to see Shaun of the dead. It hit so hard on funny stupidity to the fifth power.

Shaun of The Dead is FANTASTIC!

Yep, the Russians were bound to invade America... starting with a tiny rural Colorado town. Swayze's overacting is beautiful, as is C. Thomas Howell's character.

Oh, and let me add any movie starting with the words "The Karate Kid!"

Yep that was awesome. I still watch it and get all pumped. You can't help but even identify with that Nicaraguan leader (don't know his rank) who just really understands the importance of winning the hearts and minds, instead of being hard on the locals in responce to guerrillas. Some of the gunfights are just ridiculous, but what else could you ask for in an action flick?!?

"AVENGE ME!!!"

If im not mistaken, Simon Pegg sold out of comedy movies and has started in more major roles. R.I.P. Then again, run fatboy run was hideous!

Not sure if someone mentioned this and I am probably going to be beaten over the head for this...but another bad movie is Twilight...sparkling vampires...bad acting....really laughable "seriousness".

I was just typing Run fatboy run. That one seemed more serious. I will never be able to take him seriously though if he goes to more serious stuff....

LOL. I was wondering when someone would go there... Seriously... does anyone REALLY think that the actor who played Edward (forgive me, I'm at a loss) is "cute"?

I haven't seen Twilight, but I do think the actor that plays Edward is cute. :) I don't like his hair too much, but he was looking quite good in HP Goblet of Fire. :licklips:

Don't forget our new friends the Cubans........they where the elite shock troops in that movie!

I think one of the worst Movies I have sen is
BTK
Dennis Rader, the self-proclaimed "BTK killer" (BTK is a self-imposed moniker standing for "Bind, Torture, and Kill"). He confessed in 2005 to the serial killing of 10 people in the Wichita, Kansas area from 1974 to 1991.

it was to be a great movie about this guy who "Binds, tortures, and Kills"
BTK..but it just sucked..
seriously..never rent it..it was done in a porn movie fashion..and tacky as all hell.
It wa not even bad enough to be good..It just sucked..anyone else rent this crap??.
what a let down....

A few we took to sea with us that became our "cult hits" were already mentioned, Bryan noted "Repo Man" and CAV got George Hamilton in "Zorro the Gay Blade". When there was time for two movies the follow up movie was almost always a goofy favorite like that.
I don't think anyone mentioned any "Tremors" flicks. Pretty bad, pretty funny.

And the Chinese were our allies, too!

Gotta love the line, "It's just us and a hundred thousand Chinese."
"I thought there were a billion Chinese..."
"There were."
