Cool picture! Is that snake a pet of somebody's or is it wild? I'm sorry, I didn't look at your location so I wasn't sure if you are in the US or not.
 
I figured it was a cape, but as for the not a good pet...there are those few nuts that keep all kinds of crap. I just cant wait to meet that guy that says "Hey, come look at my new black mamba!" Because I'm probably just going to slap him and tell him to wake up...or just say my final goodbyes ;)
 
he's fine...the strike range of that snake is still a little ways away. As long as he knows what he's doing and can read snake temperments ok he should be ok...doesn't mean I'd be that close lol
 
on the picture of the brown one it sucks because the shadow covers up the face and so you can't see the definition of the neck transitioning to the head. Especially because of the dark color. Anyone catching my drift?
 
Cobras are so pretty. My current student got to kiss one on the head for good luck when she was in Thailand.
