T'Pau, "Buckskin" Okeetee

Lynnea

That's "lin-NAY-ah"
Here's my other new girl, also a proven '05. I was so excited to find her, because I've been wanting to find this type of Okeetee to go with my male, Stonn.

Beautiful! Do you call her that because of her more buckskin color, not the bright orange? Like that kind of kingsnake I can't think of the name of right now...

GREAT looking snakes, Lynnea!!! I do like this version of Okeetee.

Love the names, too! T'Pau and Stonn... but shouldn't the "girl" be "T'Pring? :poke: :D

I love those colors! They are the perfect pair! I have an SMR okeetee, but she looks nothing like this pair. Its amazing how much they can vary.

"Buckskin" is the nickname given by KJ, from whom I purchased Stonn. I don't think it's 'official', but think it is a good description of the color.

Those two are really impressive. The high level of contrast between the rich colors is really striking. They are going to produce lovely offspring. I think I need to build a baby rack.

Looking forward to baby pictures this time next year...

I love this version of Okeetee. I think the buckskin background is so pretty against the black borders and orange saddles.

Can't wait to see their babies next year! I plan on getting a pair of Okeetee's next summer :)
