The One an Only Kuro....
So today was snake feeding day...which means bringing my pre-made list of what i need to my local reptile shop(i made a list so i'd stop forgeting things). I was there yesterday looking at what snakes were for sale which included a trans-pecos rat snake, a grey rat snake, and several baby(2 week old) albino cali kings. The baby kings were adorable reminding me of my '06 albino cali...i only held one since they were so small, then i held one of the two het albino grey rat snakes...he/she had a good temperament(aside from being a tiny bit spaztic)..which surprised me cause most rat snakes want to bite me the first chance they get. Then i held the trans-pecos rat...he was so calm i was really enjoying holding him...and then i got to thinking(which might of been bad at that perticular moment) my mom said that she was going to buy me a new snake...so i asked her about getting me the trans-pecos..she said maybe in a week or so...i left it at that and put him back and we left.
When we(my mom and me) got there today to get the stuff we needed...i asked her about getting me the trans-pecos again....she said hold on and let her call my dad...well she convinced my dad into letting me get the trans-pecos buy saying that already had everthing for him(which i did) and that he was only $30(he was actually $70) and he caved in..and so i got my snake and lizard food and the trans-pecos...I love how calm he is...reminds me of my male sunglow corn.
His name is Lapis(after the stone/gem Lapis Lazuli)...he's around 26" long(inch shorter then my sunglow corn)...and has the most beautiful colored eyes..their silver which really interesting and neat. I wasn't able to hold him today because today was his feeding day at the place i got him from so he's happily digesting his meal and getting used to his new home.
The pics are better quality then normal cause i found the button that helps the camera focus on what i'm photographing...
