UPS shipping almost here?

Kudos to ProExotics, as a company that has been around should succeed in this endeavor. I cannot wait.

I still think UPS has a track record that will make me avoid using them as much as is humanly possible - legal or not. I've just had so much better luck with FedEx that I don't like to trust UPS (and I HATE what they pretend is CS) with an empty box......lol.

'Course...if I HAVE to at some point in the future.......lol.

I just got a call from Chad Brown from ProExotics...

It sounds like they really have their act together. They are a reputable company with years of experience, so I feel pretty good about trying it out with them, although I won't give up my FedEx account.

If you are a business and can do a decent volume, they will offer higher discounts than mentioned on the Fauna thread for occasional shippers.

I have never shipped UPS for live or otherwise (well, we probably shipped SOMETHING via UPS over the years, but I have never had an account with them). So I am not used to their idiosyncrasies as I am used to those at FedEx. But I will probably give it a try to see if I like how UPS operates.

I've always liked UPS a lot better. My last experience with Fed Ex was I was shipped a vacuum. They didn't leave it, (no sig was required) and then left a note saying they would hold it at the hub for pick-up, 50 miles away, so I called, and the lady told me Adam would put it right back on the truck and redeliver it (she made it sound like it was going to be that afternoon) and for the next two days it showed it was being held at Fed Ex, and then delivered the third day...

You did! To me! But I think it was via Glades Herps at the time, so not "technically"!! ;)

I have used both UPS and FedEx. No differences either way. I only switched to FedEx so I could be """legal""". ;)

I knew I shipped SOMETHING, haha! Maybe a couple of boxes to relatives, too (not animals). But since I never had an account myself, I don't feel very familiar with UPS.
