No, they don't. Because places like the BOI exist. People who DO sell sick animals find very quickly that they have absolutely no place in this hobby, and disappear almost as quickly as they appeared (except for the few who still stick around to prey on the innocent newbies).
 
Not everyone knows about the BOI.... I didn't until just the other day! Either case they still exist and still have plenty of business out there unfortunately!
 
There are two stickies on this forum about the BOI- in the NEW MEMBERS AREA and the For Sale areas. Stickies are generally there for a reason.
 
Let's see......Dean, Kathy, Serpenco, Bell, Chuck, Walter, Bayou, Crackerhead, Joanna, Susan, Zorro, Carol, Dave P (well Jeff bred them but he raised them up), and Nanci (although I haven't actually met him yet).

If I forgot anyone, I am sorry. I am pretty sure there were more.

Never disappointed a single time, not once.
 
I have never gotten a sick snake from a Breeder. I was also told about the BOI upon finding this forum a few years back. First snakes I got were from Bob. Then I have gotten one from Christen and a couple from Nanci.

I have even gotten a Hog Island Boa from a breeder online. Checked him out on the BOI before the purchase. He is a beautiful healthy boy!
