waiting sucks...

skullmaster

as seen on you tube
hey how long does it usually take for pippies to leave the egg ?

this is my first clutch ... (can I say clutch if there only 1 egg that had veins out of 2 dozen) last night at 3 am there was a little nose peeking out, its now 3:25 pm est and still just a head, waiting sucks! lol

I had some that took around 24 hours to emerge from the egg fully. Keep waiting...it's worth it!

Thank God I didn't check my eggs this morning or I would have never made it through work! So- I know my egg wasn't pipped last night at 5:00PM, and there was a baby out today at 5:00 PM.

Hey, and you know what, none of my eggs had veins- not one. And at least two have babies!! I've been in a major depression since I candled the eggs. I'm NEVER doing that again!!

Never candling eggs again?? I don't buy that ;)
You know you can't help yourself...especially since you didn't see veins..you're going to want to see what veins look like, in your next clutch...LOL

The ones that didnt have veins I left in there till they went bad.
my good egg stayed pure white ... it was so weird , the good egg came from an unexpected double clutch , after my first 12 egg clutch went bad I was so bummed out, I was like "crap now I gotta wait a whole other year, boo" but then I got 12 more eggs and when i saw veins in one I was celibrating big time :) then on day 58 a little nose appeerd :) and finally after 20 hours it left the egg :) I will be posting pics in the gallery... but I have to resize them first.
