Looky here! New forum, needs a little paint . . . just wanted to be the first to post here! :sidestep:

Well Elle, I'm all for letting you set up shop and get to work! Dean has indicated he'll get the old(er) WIR's moved over here when he gets the chance! :)

Cool! Glad I had a little part in it. Will we need to renew it yearly?

Glad you had a little part as well! As long as the WIR sticks around we'll need to renew it yearly. I'll worry about crossing that bridge next April or May! :grin01:

We should be all set with the thread moves. I didn't move the original WIR poll thread. Good luck Elle. :)

Thanks Dean! BTW, how/where do I turn off the post notification emails? (I just figure it would be quicker asking then searching for the tool!)

You're welcome. :) But the bad news is that you can't turn off the notification emails from the cs.com side. I ended up having to block them from my email, but then I had to remove that "rule" when I became a mod so I'd receive "report post" notifications...

Sure didn't seem like fundraising was a problem this year! I think the limited chances made it more appealing- there's a pretty high chance of winning!!

Aww lookie... *sniff snot cry*

We did it guys! Thanks for moving all previous posts Dean! Ill have next mondays up on... um Monday! LOL

I don't think anyone would not want to donate each year to keep this forum going. Its only $50!

I think someone should donate a bloodred next year, though. That would cause me to break the No New Snakes embargo.

Nanci

Wow- I just looked at the whole section! (I usually read CS.com by New Posts) You've done so many! It doesn't seem like that long! I hope you never get tired of it...

I think something non live should be donated as some sort of prize, ie a photographic pint, or a poster or book. Just so some of us overseas people can get a chance to be in on the action :p First place could be a hatchling, but I think there should be other prizes.

Hmmmm . . . wait, that's a whole year off! Nice try! Of course I've been toying with the idea of raffles and prize donations for a while! :)

That sure does sound like a good idea Elle! Except you guys tend to like it warm over there and I like mine ice cold.

This is great Brent! It is people and things like this that make this hobby and this site awesome. There ya go Elle, you now have your very own little corner of the CS.com world. I have always thought if this were to be a continuous thing that it would warrant it's own forum. Please keep up the tedious work that you do with the "Week In Review".

PJ and I were thinking the same thing. It is fun things like this that encourage participation from old members as well as new. There are a ton of different ideas that could be applied to a raffle that would benefit this site and the people who participate as well. Great idea Brent! (worth 5 cools easy,     )

Wow! 5 cools?!?! I really don't feel worthy! I just saw the opportunity and took advantage of it. Yes I made a sacrifice/donation for the cause, but to my thinking this gorgeous Anery Motley male would just be ""wasted"" sitting around here with noone to breed. :shrugs: Like we spoke on the phone, better that someone else gets a positive use from him! I do appreciate the kudo's, thank you (I tend to have problems with receiving compliments.) I'm really just trying to do my part in life.
