Wow, someone not in Ky know that those are. Every bar I have been in outside the state looks at me like I am nuts.
 
I learned to pour them when I was in high school; I was the bartender at most parties. I even make my own coffee liqueur.

I can't make em but I sure can drink em...well...at least I could many eons ago. When you are with fellow herpers...any drink named after a herp is a must!
 
I saw the recipe that you guys are talking about, but these sound interesting too...

Texas Rattlesnake recipe
1 part Yukon Jack® Canadian whisky
1/2 part cherry brandy
1 part Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1 splash sweet and sour mix

Colorado Rattlesnake recipe
1 1/2 oz chilled 1800® Tequila
1 1/2 oz tomato juice
1 - 4 dashes Tabasco® sauce
1 - 4 dashes black peppers
