Susan said:Very interesting! What does the belly look like? I'm guessing it's a plain belly as that sure looks like it might be a motley, possibly a hypo motley with Miami phase in the bloodline. The over-all color reminds me of some light colored banded corns and the motley gene would account for the more uniform coloration, as well as that white throat and the dorsal pattern (not the ideal motley, but I've got one marked similarly). There may also be some Keys influence in the color, as I'm reminded of that as well. The head has a different look to it and the thought of yellow rat comes to mind, but I'm not an expert with that species...it just came to mind.

Shaky said:I disagree. It doesn't really look ratsnake to me. It looks just like an amber without the yellow wash. Maybe its just a very weird amber.
Vinman said:It was allready proven not to be a hypo so how can it be a amber. You cant miss the rat snake in it, look at the head in the first few pics how many yellow rat / corn crosses have you seen. I know that I seen many . I also breed ambers and none of them look liket that . Look at all the pic's in the thread the scales have to much of a keel.
