What should the "Beast" be called? Morph name?

bekers71

What addiction?!
Most hybrids have names such as; Creamsicle, Rootbeer and Jungle Corn. Now that the "Beast" have shown what they can produce, I feel as though they deserve a morph name. There are other people that mix black ratsnakes and corns. But there is no special name for them.

Before some one goes off the deep end saying it's wrong, just remember all hybrids started some where with no special name. It's so much easier to say creamsicle than albino emoryi x albino cornsnake. I know that not every one is going to agree with me doing this and that's fine. Please do not turn this in to a big argument.

If you know some one that has named this cross breed of snake already, then please by all means, let me know.

So at the moment I have had a few suggestions from friends. I would like every ones opinions and more suggestions are welcome.

Suggested names so far:

Titan Corn
Mammoth Corn
BeastX
Sundry Corn pronounced sun-dree

The last one is the one I am leaning towards. It sounds catchy and means mixed.

Start the opinions coming. :)

Not sure I'd include "Corn" at all.

Rootbeers aren't generally known as "Rootbeer Corns", neither are Creamsicles referred to as "Creamsicle Corns".

I don't like the idea of including "corn" in the name either. I think that would imply that it's a corn morph, not a hybrid morph and could confuse people.

I like the idea of using "beast" or some other similar word in the naming of them though.

Thanks for the input so far every one.

I had some conservations on adding corn on the end myself. I am glad to see that others agree.

So the word "corns" will not be included in the name.

I like the idea of using "beast" or some other similar word in the naming of them though.

This has been suggested by others as well. Some one else said that because most that have seen them already associate "beast" with these snake, it would be good to keep using it.

So what do you put with "Beast" so it doesn't sound so fictional?

how about "Bestia intergrade" (bestia iis the latin word for beast..but it makes it sound a little nicer"..)

I like Goliath X Corn. I know it has corn in the name, but it would be pretty obvious that it is not pure corn.

O.K., I'll admit, I would hesitate using "corn" in labeling these also.

However, what's the biggest corn you've ever seen?

:crazy01:Hominy:crazy01:

Hominy ratsnake/hominy corn/hominy hybrid... whatever.
