I love hearing where everyone's at! :)

Keep it coming!

I should prove the Butter to be Hypo as well this year seeing that I bred him to 3 Amber females and soon a Hypo female. That should do the trick :)

Middle of grad school for me, so only three clutches this year to keep my sanity!

I have one that should lay in a week or so (amel blood x butter het hypo). Just had a successful pairing tonight (coral snow x pastel motley). And the last one planned for in a couple of weeks (banded motley het amel x banded motley het amel). Trying to keep them somewhat spread out so I don't have a million hatchlings at once.

Sorry to hear about your mediocre start Stephanie. :( I'm sure things will turn around! (Oh, and I cannot tell coral snows from "normal" snows as hatchlings. This is why I try to deal with only homo hypo parents)

I'm testing my Snow Motley male for Hypo, that's why I did the Snow Motley x Ghost Motley pairing. ;)

I'm expecting my first clutch any day now - ghosts poss. het amel and coral ghosts.

I bred my banded sunglow girl to a male that visually looks sunkissed but I do not know for certain that he is! She is in shed now.

I bred a pair of motleys het amel possible het caramel. I think she is gravid and should go into shed in about 2 weeks.

My last pair just hooked up for the third time tonight - Classice het amel and anery to a pink and green snow.

That butter is awesome looking, good luck with it.

_Update_

Well, Sally shed so we took her over to this guy's house for a breeding loan with an okeetee (or it could just be a normal, I don't know) on Thursday. This guy doesn't name his snakes so I'm calling his male Jack so it's Jack and Sally like in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I called the guy yesterday and apparently the two of them got into it right away...

I've got 17 eggs cookin' from a snow stripe to snow breeding, laid on the 20th. There are three females set to lay in the next few weeks: amel bred to snow (testing for amel's hets, she throws nice zig zags), normal het snow bred to creamsicle (testing cream's hets) and an emoryi bred to snow. The amel and normal het snow both typically produce 20-25 eggs each. The emoryi is a first time mom, I bought her as a male! I have an amel het lav bred to same that is due early in May and two others that haven't been bred yet. We'll be out of town the end of May and I don't want anyone laying while we're gone!

I know I posted one of these pics in the photo section but since everyone was showing their pairings I just had to get in on it... not pics of hook-ups... sorry...
This is Solis and Isis just hanging out together for picture taking... Isis HATES havign her picture taken...

I also bred Solis, the amel pictured above, with my anery female Athena pictured here...

Well, I posted my plans earlier, but I have to announce my first hook-up ever!! I'm very happy. As I write this they're still at it, and, sorry, I only have one bad photo to document the event.

This is between Aurora and Archimedes. hope fully the outcome will be all ultramels het caramel, as Archimedes is believed to be an ultra caramel, not a golddust, but we'll see. This is the third try between these two and this try went off without a hitch. Well, now the waiting begins!! I will do one or 2 more breedings between these 2 to assure Aurora has been fertilized and is gravid.

Just had to anounce that somewhere, and this seemed a good place. Thanks.

wow... this is my first year too, and so far:

amel f x stripe snow m = 15 eggs in the cooker for 2 weeks already! some of them have gone bad though.

snow f x stripe snow m = one broody female deep in her lay box after shedding 2 days ago.

hopefully i will have pippes between the first and fifteenth of may.

My first hook-up happened last night! I tried my hypo, Buck with my granite, Pearl. She was flagging her tail but he wasn't interested, so I tried Slim my RO with her instead, and he did it!

Well, both Isis and Athena are getting decidedly pudgy... Athena now refuses any food larger than a big pinkie... and she's beginning to go blue, her nose skin is actually peeling off already... so the lay box went in last night and she's been in it ever since. Perhaps I'll have eggs in the next week or so.

Well...after the disasterous first clutch (poor Sunny laid 32 eggs and only around 10 are fertile right now) Soleil started laying yesterday. She was worrying me because she was two weeks past shed but I feel better now. The only pics I could get were with my phone and I don't want to bug her more today. I know they're not the best but for a phone they're not half bad! Right now I have four others that have shed and three that are in the stages of being gravid before their shed.

I am WAAAAYYYY behind. My females just completed their 3rd hook up last night.

I have an anery motley het amel and hypo to an amel motley stripe het anery.
I also have a normal het hypo, lav, and butter pair going this year.
My last pairing are a bloodred pair.
Hopefully I will have eggs in about a month!

This is my first year too and I'm really nervous about the egg laying. I hope all goes well.

My first pair (lavenderXlavender) bred about 3 weeks ago, it looks like the female might be gravid and she is only taking smaller then normal food.

My second pair (lavenderXamel) is currently hooked up, This is the cross I am hoping will be most successful.

Well I'm up to seven females having laid! I'm keeping the new "In The Incubator" page updated with all of my current eggs. So far we have 83 total. :) I think there are 7 more yet to lay.

I did loose another female. She prolapsed her oviduct while laying during the night and died, but all 11 eggs look healthy.

Love both your caramel and the amber girls, Sickpyth, awesome!

I have 2 pairs which both hooked up twice, the lady's are already grumpy and getting rounded.

I tried both my lavender male and my blood male with my okeetee phase lady, but they seem not interested, nor does she... since the lav did breed my RO, I'm confident that he would have done the job had she been ready. The lav is nu permanently with her. The blood has been with my butter for a couple of weeks now, but I have not seen any breeding attempts so far.

My miami motley male is out for a breeding project with an amel het motley lady and maybe another girl.

After I have moved (start of May) I might give my sunglow motley lady a late try with my blood if she is up for it, she is not yet IMO.

Oh, and I might borrow a yellow ratsnake male from friends for my yellow lady, not sure yet though...

Oh, the succesfull hook ups were a light colored miami lady to a dark miami male and my lav male with my RO lady.
