Which of your snake's is your favorite? (Show us!)

Oh don't make me do this! My favorite snake is which ever one I am holding at the time....

I suppose it has to be Siren my Sorong chondro. She is such a sweet little green booger...

Without hesitation, my hognose snake, Chubby. She's seven years old and a perfect doll. She has never refused a meal(Except once when she got a URI; that was how I discovered she was sick), she is mellower than mellow, and everyone who meets her, even "non snake people" love her adorable fat face. :)

Once my Indigo arrives, this may be a much harder question to answer!!

As many snakes as I have, or ever had, determining my favorite really wasn't that hard to do. I has to be Boo, my handsome '01 ghost male. The ghost morph was the very first one that I really had my heart set on getting and producing, and Boo is the only male keeper from the very first clutch of ghosts I produced. Besides being super gorgeous, Boo is also super sweet and the first snake I grab for anyone to handle, no matter their experience. I had my children handling Boo when my youngest was just a toddler.

These are just a tiny sampling of the photos I have of Boo from over the years, and even though his "peachiness" has diminished, he will always be the best damn ghost EVER!

Amazing snakes everyone!

Lex, those are all absolutely gorgeous snakes. I love your Anery Pewter/ Granite. I'm curious if you can tell a Pewter/Granite apart from a regular Granite by appearance alone, or is breeding the only way to find out.
I have a Granite, and I have had my own recent speculations that he may have more than just Anery/Blood. He looks much different than most Granite's I've seen, but doesn't look like any Pewter's I've seen either. I understand that there's variation in all morphs, but his extremely dark eyes, and absolutely no yellow or peach coloration, has made me curious if there's more to him than just being Granite.

Sorry to be off topic, but I've been thinking about this for a little while, and your photo of the Granite/Pewter is the most similar to my "Granite" that I've seen so far.

Based solely on appearance... Phoenix. But I don't really have a favourite when it comes to their personality, I adore them all to bits.

If I had to choose a favorite, I really think I'd pick Valentino. A lot of people in the MD/VA area saw him... we got him from Rick Krumrine reptiles on Valentine's day last year and he had been around to several shows in the area. We were the lucky ones that got him!!

He is the most sociable and "funny" snake we have. He loves to wedge himself into small places and he actually watches you walk around the snake room. He is also a perennial favorite with my students. Tara brought him over for my afternoon class today and there was much squealing and excitement. "Valen! It's Valen!" He's just so cute and sweet tempered. You cannot help but love him.

I think my overall favorite corn snake is Buddy, my male locality Okeetee. He's always out watching when I'm working in my snake room.

OK, I am lame! My favorite snake in my collection is my classic named Sage!

I don't know why I love her so? Maybe it's how handleable she is or her feeding response? :shrugs:

I just love her!

I only have two snakes (one is joint owned cause he was given to me and my boyfriend at the same time, and we kind of live together most of the time anyways) and I love them both, so I can't pick a favorite! I have an amelanistic corn called Drake and a Colombian red tail boa called Asmodaeus. Drake is my avatar, and this is Asmodaeus:

I don't have good pics of my own to post, but I think Icabod is my fav. If you search on him you will find PJ's pics of him.

Susan, I really like Boo's coloring in the last picture (with the purple ?aster). Is that his current coloring? I am not so into peach & love the subtleties I see in that picture! Yummy. Like really subtle heathery tones in wool.

I love all mine, but Cerise certainly has a special place in my heart. My first female, a perfect eater/shedder, great personality, and I think she's pretty gorgeous, to boot!

Thanks everyone! I can't comment them all individually but... There are some great looking snakes in here! Keep them coming, please.

Cracker (leucistic black ratsnake) is my favorite.
Are you sure that's a black rat? It's eyes look HUGE!It's Very nice! I have been thinking of getting a leucistic for some time. Though I'll probably go for a Texas rat.

I'll have to go with my banded Goldust Motley
Airwells... That's beautiful! I can see why you like it!

My favorite Girl passed away last year of Cancer. I was really upset at her passing.
Here Is Selu a sonoran gopher.

It's like trying to pick your favorite child!lol But I'd have to give coo dos to the little bugger that started it all. Meet Mr. Pink, my eastern garter!

Whew, that's tough. I'm going to have to go with my little spitfire Beelz. He's a bubblegum rat snake that earned his name by biting my husband 5 times the first time we held him. He has such a personality and he's really calmed down, he's still no cornsnake. Hmmmm, I need to get a better pic of him, oh well here he is.
