Wish List

A sunglow BCI or "specialty "tiny" boa" or
eventually the hatchlings from one of Oren's beauties (likely NEVER gonna happen). :)

Why not? :)
It may take a while but... I do plan on at the very least dropping off for a visit to the USA. 'sides, thanks, I'm flattered :)
Little note though, Boas can never be hatchlings, they don't know what an egg is :santa:

My own wishlist... well...

Boas:

Isle la maize(Corn Isle) Boas
a couple of extra clean Hogg Isle Boas
Dominican red mountain Boa

Boa Constrictor morphs:

Paradigm/Paraglow
Jungle/Super Jungle
Motley Sharp Sunglow
wouldn't be sad with some Cherry line Salmons

Pythons:

pair of super dwarf albino/sunfire reticulated pythons

Colubrids:

Goldust corns
Sunkissed corns
old school bloodred corns

Orange phase Thayeri kingsnakes

Haha I really only like them because they look like baby dragons. And they eyelash viper was just something I tacked onto mine because you forgot it on yours.. :D

Thanks for the reminder... I KNEW that, but it slipped my mind when I was posting... I was thinking what OTHER things to put on the list! LOL.

There's probably a lot more to add to this, but I just can't think of anything else at the moment!

Corns:

Well, I pretty much have all the ingredients to roll my own for any morph I could ever want (except Terrazzo, Lava, and Cinder), so there's only 2 morphs that I really would like to work with.
Scaleless Corns. The look of them is so interesting, and their colors are so vivid!
Cinders. I need to make Peppermints, Hypo Cinders, and some Lavender Cinders. LOL

(in no particular order) Non-corn non-venomous snakes:

Albino African House Snakes. I already have a pair of normals, and love them to death. The albinos are absolutely gorgeous.
Super Dwarf Reticulated Pythons. One of my dream snakes. I hope to add a pair to my collection next year, finances and space permitting. I love the look of retics, but don't like the size they reach. I already have one monster snake, I don't need a second or third.
Woma Pythons. I've fallen in love with the look of this species. I love the look of them, I love their size, and I love their temperament.
Blackhead Pythons. See also Woma Pythons.
Rhino Rats. Another oddity that I would love to own. Their noses, color, and activity make them very attractive snakes overall.
Gonsoyama Oxy-Jansen Hybrids. Beautiful green and hardy snakes that don't usually require additional heating for ideal keeping.
Moonglow BCIs. One of my dream morphs in a boa.
Scaleless Texas Rats. See also Scaleless Corn.
More Candoia boas. A very interesting species, with quite a few subspecies. I would love to have a room full of these odd little critters.
Red Dominican Mountain Boa. A recent addition to the pet trade that I would LOVE to get my hands on.
Vietnamese Blue Beauty. Gorgeous snakes that will keep you on your toes!
Cave Dwelling Rats. Almost like a beauty snake, but almost patternless. Gorgeous animals.
White Albino Japanese Rats. Unfortunately, because the only known population is on a preserve in Japan, the chance of me ever being able to own these is slim to none.
Leopard Rats. Striped, and normal. Very interesting snakes.
Freckled Beauty Snakes. I actually just discovered these the other day in a classified ad. Out of my price range for now, but still on the want list.
Superconda Hoggies. I love hoggies, and I love patternless snakes almost as much as I love aberrant patterns[/b].
Hundred Flower Rats. Also called "Red-Headed Rats", or "Mollendorff's Rats". An absolutely gorgeous snake not very commonly found in the pet trade due to a lack of captive bred specimens.
Piebald Persian Rats. I love their little white heads.
Blue Green Tree Python. The blue versions of the already gorgeous GTP are just incredible.
Coxi. Short, sweet, and to the point. Coxi are absolutely gorgeous snakes, and I would love to own several.
Borneo Bateater. An absolutely gorgeous hybrid between a burm and a retic. They don't exhibit the "hybrid vigor" found in ligers, and stay smaller than either of the parent snakes.
Greyband Kingsnakes. Gorgeous kings with a much better temperament than the Cali's. I love the look of them.
Black Milk. SO much better than MBK's.
Tri-color Hognose. I want some of these so very badly.
Leucistic BCI. A patternless WHITE boa. What could be more beautiful?
High-white Piebald Ball Python. One of 3 BP's I'll break my "No more BP's" rule for.
Albino Piebald Ball Python. See also High white Piebald Ball Python.
Blue-eyed Leucistic Ball Python. See also High white Piebald Ball Python.
Oren's Sunfire Line boas. I simply MUST have a trio.
Scoria boa. Only one word is needed. WANT.

Venomous snakes:
Albino Monocled Cobra. GORGEOUS snakes.
"Beautiful" Viper. An absolutely gorgeous tiny venomous snake.
Eyelash Viper. All shapes and colors.
Hairy Bush Viper. I LOVE the look of these interesting little critters!

my wish list is really short. Partly because of room and also because I can have just so many animals where I live.

ONE black milk snake.
also added since seeing one tonight. red tail green rat snake.

that's it for me. Maybe in the future I'll add more to the list but for now that's it.

I guess if there's still a reptile or two out there that I'd be interested in keeping, it would probably be Green Tree Pythons and maybe a Gila Monster. Gilas are just a strange and quirky lizard. They kind of bring up in my mind images of rabid reptilian chihuahuas, if such a thing were to exist. ;)

Fortunately for me, I've pretty got most of my "wish list" snakes at this point in time. Actually, my wish list has dwindled down significantly since I fell in love with and started breeding Western Hognose. Of course I also love the rest of our collection as well, but the Hognose are by far my favorite.

When I first got into keeping snakes back in '94, I remember going through all of my TFH books and just drooling over all the exotic snakes, most of which were rare in collections at best back in those days. Today's market is a lot more diverse and despite the expense of some morphs, it's a heckuva lot cheaper than some normal colored species used to be back then which makes it much easier to acquire all of these exotic fancy specimens that I used to only read about in books.

Here is my non corn non hot list\
  • Vietnamese blue beauty
  • Coxi
  • Hundred flower rat
  • Tanzanian Tiger Snake
  • Mole Snake
  • Mangrove snake
  • Rien rat snakes
  • Hognose morphs
That just hardly scartches the surface!

Okay, I give.

These are all corns because, well, they are. Though the DH was saying yesterday that he liked boas too.

Wishing for:
Caramel Bloodred
Pewter
Granite
Dilute Anery
Caramel and/or Caramel Motley, the darker the better
Charcoal
(dark) Lavender (not so much a fan of the really pastel/pinks)
Cinder and/or Hypo Cinder
Ghost (toward the darker scale)
"plain ol'" Anery/Black
Kisatchie
"plain ol'" normal

...can you tell I like the darker/richer colored morphs?

Oh, and while I'm wishing, a breeding friend in NorCal. *nod*

I just realized that some people might not have heard of Scoria boas, as they're not exactly a common morph. So I'll post a picture. LOL
