I'm digging up this thread to show someone how to tube a snake. There's also a video on YouTube. Noah, BTW has graduated from Regurge Reform School just a couple feedings ago, with no repeat performances for over a year.
http://tinyurl.com/yedhh9l This is El Wray after he graduated back to whole mice, showing how liberally I use the Nutribac.
After feeding a Nutribac mouse, I rinse the snake in room temp water, because the snake will be sticky. Just run the whole body under the faucet once or twice.
I dug this thread up for someone, so I thought I'd update you on Noah, who is now assumed to be a female, BTW!
I kept Noah on Nutribac-covered mice for a year. Noah is now eating plain adult mice once every ten days and weighs about 350 grams. Happy and healthy, with, knock on wood, never another regurge.
Well, what would & do without you and Kathy! Thank you!
I can get the tube down ok, it's just getting the ferret food to the right consistency so it will go down the tube. I got the Nuribac own Khol with no trouble. He is due for another dose today.
