My favorite dog breed has to be German Shepherds. They are so intelligent, vigilant, loving, protective, athletic, and many other things... but more importantly, because of Ciana. She's my absolute pride and joy

!
My next favorite has to be the highly sought after Dachshund mix, like Rajon. He's a rescue, and couldn't be any sweeter or more loving. He's far from vigilant, protective, etc... but he's a love ball, and I love him to death!
Another breed that I always have, and always will love, is the Maltese. They are just wonderful dogs, and I can't think of a more personable companion (other than Ciana of course

). They're very brave, smart, loyal, and are right there by your side when you need them. My first dog, Jason, was a Maltese. I got him as a Christmas present from my mother when I was 9years old, and he was my absolute best friend. He passed away a few years ago, due to a heart condition, but I'll always keep him close to my heart.
After he passed, I realized that I needed another dog, because my life was just too lonely. And although I decided to get a German Shepherd, Maltese' are always going to be among my favorite dogs. Last winter my mother got a Maltese, as she really missed Jason as much as I did, and he's also a lovable ball of joy.
Anyways, I pretty much love all dogs, so breed isn't too important. But to name breeds from my experience, I would say German Shepherds and Maltese' have to be right at the top.
