Lilac - '10 Pewter Progression

I can't believe how dark she's gotten from a hatchling. Nice looking girl you have there.

You think she's getting darker?

Thanks for the compliments, guys. This snake was an unexpected addition to my collection, and I'm so thankful for her. I guess she's an example of why you can't just say "oh, well, I don't need another [insert morph here], I already have one", because there's just so much variation within each morph!

All I know is that I LOVE my Colorado Corns, such amazing quality from such a stand up guy. John, you ROCK!

Must add "pewter" to the "in my dreams" list. Haven't seen one yet I didn't like and this little girl is extremely pretty!

She's coming along nicely. Waiting for Moya to shed, too. Seems to take them forever when you're really looking forward to it!! I love your outdoor shots in the natural light. I haven't done that with any of my snakes yet, been waiting for it to warm up some before I take them out. :)

Nice pics!!! I need a nice mossy, stoney ground area like that for my lighter snakes!! She is so beautiful.

I know!! when I am REALLY anticipating a shed it takes 10 times longer of course!

It's definitely worth it to take photos of your snakes in natural lighting. Even if you just take the tub outside somewhere where you can use the sun or shade and no flash. It makes such a difference. We've been having an unseasonably warm winter. It's practically spring here. Today was the first time it's rained in awhile! I was a little disappointed at the weather, and then I remembered that it's FEBRUARY, and really I'm pretty lucky!

Thanks, I LOVE the results I've been getting from it. I am really liking the new apartment my boyfriend and I moved into, there are so many great places to take pictures of my snakes!
The only thing is it seems like there are maintenance people here every day. It's nice, they are always out with the leaf blower, making sure everything is cleaned up. The last photo shoot I was having with Lova though, they came over to me with a rubber snake that they had found on the grounds and asked me if I wanted to photograph it! I guess I am attracting some odd attention. :sidestep:

I found Lilac fresh shed so I took her outside and snapped a few shots. I think she's looking rather lovely!

A little closer to show the nice diffusion she has on her neck

I love her aberrant pattern and how it fades into diffusion
