Hey all! Unfortunatley school has kept me from enjoying the forums on a daily basis as I love to do, but I'm still around and kicken it! The hatchlings are all doing well, and I even have a new addition!
A solitary egg from Lux's double clutch made it to duration. Actually it hatched about a week early, and I'm very glad I checked on the eggs when I did. I'd been at my parent's for the weekend, and I just happened to decide to check in on the eggs. I found this little gem already in blue!!
It's a very interesting little Thundlefart. Its neck is striped yet it is a Motley. Pretty cool!
Here's Passion [Fruit] after its shed. I haven't sexed it yet.
Here are picture updates on the rest of the brood, who have all eaten at least twice now with the exceptions of Kiwi (who has only eaten once, but to give her credit, she was in blue when I offered the other night), and Pineapple, who unfortunately has not eaten at all. Thankfully Pineapple is destined to a loving home with someone who wants to work with her.
Alright, here they are.
Papaya
The most agro of all the little ones. This gal has QUITE the tude!
Consequently she is also the largest of the snakelets and routinely messes up her little tub. I think with a larger enclosure perhaps she'll settle down? Here's a cute tongue shot.
Pumpkin
This dude is also quite the spitfire. I'm not quite sure why, but Papaya and Pumpkin just go crazy snapping at me every chance they get.
Pumpkin is quite the handsome guy though, and just went home with a friend of mine yesterday. It was kind of cool because he was much calmer for his new owner. Perhaps it's Colin's experience with Milk Snakes that makes him experienced enough to take on a snappy corn baby. Maybe it's just that his very calm personality rubbed off on Pumpkin.

A match made in heaven.
