It's Jager time!
Hi again folks
This WIR is from Monday the 14th of January to Monday the 21st January.
New additions to growing collections this week!
CornNoobie picked up a perfect wee amel stripe.
Dale is picking up a pair of ghost stripes from this pretty clutch.
Auraya got her first snake!
Christina bought her last snakes… for now.
Debb got some outstanding sunkissed stuff.
Appologies if I have missed anyone out. If I have, please post a link to your new additions and I will add it in!
This weeks morph photos!
I have had one or two people ask how I chose photos for the WIR. It is not a popularity contest. I simply chose pictures which I find visually appealing regardless of technical errors etc afterall that’s what photography is all about. I also chose pictures of morphs I particularly like. Every WIR review writer choses their pictures differently. I have given a wee description above each shot to explain exactly why I have chosen each shot, and I will continue to do this!
1st place is Susan with Persius, a perfect example of a pretty pewter. Aren’t his eyes dreamy?
2nd place is jiyoung2k. I adored the subtleness of this shot. Perhaps not a picture of a pretty corn snake, but I like the delicate textures and iridescence. The depth of field and composition is also spot on IMO.
3rd place is Jenn with her pride and joy, Nagini the charcoal. Perfectly composed shot and it’s all natural! We need more outdoor snake photography…
Stan the ghost stripe by Jenni. Beautiful composition to this shot, well done!
An outstanding amel stripe by mactopa. More people should try out the mirror shots! They really show off every angle of a snake.
I REALLY liked this shot by Delightedly. I love how the hand frames the picture perfectly, and I also love the dark shadows and subtle colours.
Another fabulous shot from Susan. She always seems to capture her snakes vivid colours with her fantastic outdoor photography.
I love the way this outstanding ghost bloodred is positioned. Natural backgrounds also take my fancy! Great shots XCIN
I dislike pictures of snakes on fish gravel, however this picture really stood out for me. The contrasting yet coordinating colours matched with this prime example of a candy cane meant I had to chose this shot by snakeparadise.
