So my so-called friend Katie told me Joe Pierce was having a sale, and he had fire stripes. I'd given up on the fire stripe dream for now, but I thought I'd "just look." Just a little while I go I'd been "just looking" at VMS and ended up buying Bacon, classic het opal stripe, because I liked his genes! But I didn't have the bucks for an opal stripe, so thought I'd just wait and see what prices did. And lo and behold, Joe had a nice female lav stripe het amel for sale! And was she gorgeous. And affordable! Well, my non-snake friends think I'm insane, but she was 25% off!

Calli is a little mite- she weighed in at 6 grams of tail-rattling striking fury!

Bacon likes to rob the cradle a little bit eh? You're gonna be all over that striped wallpaper now for sure. In every picture she's looking at you like she's gonna bite you if you turn away for 5 seconds.

What an adoreable wee nipper! I can't wait to make my own lav stripes, even if it is an F2 project LOL.

Shes absolutly beautiful and has such a perfect stripey pattern. My favourite of your three new babs :)
 
If any of my adults struck at me like the babies do it'd scare the bejesus out of me! Calli was the least strikeable, and Ruby the most. I tried to video them quickly because it was so adoreable, but, of course, the camera focused on the wall not the snakes. I had a really good shot of Pepper reaching out and getting my camera hand! Only strike a third of their length- not true if they are tethered by you holding them! He went full length to get me!
 
An adult corn getting in striking position is a little intimidating until you realize it doesn't hurt that much when they strike. But your right, if adult corns struck as much as some babies, I would be a little weary of sticking my hand in some cages.
 
Oooh Nanci she is absolutely adorable! Babies with attitude are gorgeous!

Woo hoo! I finally get to see her! She is even more stunning than I imagined! Now I want a 1.1 of those. CONGRATS!! Btw I am still blaming you for my 1.1 hurricane butters het striped hehe. And I couldn't be happier. Looks like we will both be producing the same year.
