I'm so glad you get to go Robbie! Are you bringing my friend Tony? Hope so! This is going to be o fun! Except I thought it was this Saturday, not in two weeks...

Unfortunately, Tony has school on Saturday... (He started at the cosmetology school this past week over here!)

Should we plan for an AM meet up at the show with lunch to follow at Winghouse across the street?

I know I invited Robbie (since he is going to be all the way out here anyways) to swing by my house that afternoon as well so he could check out the collection. If anyone else wants to join - you are more than welcome!

Too bad we can't lure any new people in. Like Norm. Taxidermy. Angela. Dark Morning. Meagann. I know there are a bunch of new people down by WPB...Have you heard from Chris? Susan!!

I sent Chris a message on myspace. He is going to try to make it.
I agree though - we have tons of new people down here - would be great if some of them could join us!

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control (monetary), I probably won't be able to make the show... However, this very well could change if the job I interviewed for today comes through. Keep your fingers crossed!

Looks like I'm not going. The move out here has put me in a bit of a hole and the over 3hr drive with gas would kill me. Sorry guys! Maybe next time! I am going to the Repticon show up here in Tallahassee this weekend though. Definitely not as good as Tampa!

Nanci, you were right. Repticon pretty much sucked. They charged a ridiculous amount to get in, and it was a small and disappointing show. Not many vendors and not much selection... what a bummer! It's just that it was only 4 miles from my house. Oh well, I learned what show to avoid!

See, now you have to go to Tampa! If you can make it down to me- I'll drive the rest of the way! But I want to leave early- I may have to pick up Katie.

I'd still go to Tally Repticon if it was four miles away....(Just think what it'd be like if Rich participated!!!)

Bump for anyone else still interested? Show is this weekend. C'mon guys - I know there are more of us around who could attend!

It's today!!!!!!!!! We're meeting at 10:00!!! Then lunch at the Wing House!! Snakes!! Lizards!! Mice!! Turtles!! Spiders!! Frogs!! Tortoises!! Armadillos!!

All I got was a book from Kathy Love, but it looks good! I've been eyeing it for a while- finally bought it.

I saw a pair of snakes that I might have bought before I decided to limit future buys to corns and Pioneertown Rosys. Central Plains Milksnakes. $100/pair. Tiny! The guy said they started out feeding on fuzzy legs! But gorgeous. Pure white background with black and red bands.

Lindsey Pike had very beautiful Ornate Uros as usual. They were fun to play with- they thought my pink fingernails were some sort of food they couldn't live without.

We heard a tremendous squealing from the back of the building. At first I thought it was a guinea pig, but it kept on, and on, and on. People were starting to head that direction. We joked that it was being fed to something! Katie guessed correctly that it was a real piglet, and we saw him being carried out by his new owners, still screaming...

There were camels there. We tried to get Joe to ride one, but he wouldn't.

There was an excellent assortment of water turtles.

I was looking at a table of Okeetees, thinking how outstanding they were, and glanced up to see Lee Abbott. Should have known.

Saw some granite Spotted Pythons- very beautiful!

I admired some hairless rats, and was admonished that they weren't feeders!

Georgia Bearded Dragons had outstanding dragons, as usual. They are simply the prettiest out there.

I saw an albino leucistic Texas Rat. I didn't know there was such a thing. It had pink eyes.

Joe, Katie, Mike and I adjourned for lunch to Wing House.

And that's the wrap up!
