All I got was a book from Kathy Love, but it looks good! I've been eyeing it for a while- finally bought it.
I saw a pair of snakes that I might have bought before I decided to limit future buys to corns and Pioneertown Rosys. Central Plains Milksnakes. $100/pair. Tiny! The guy said they started out feeding on fuzzy legs! But gorgeous. Pure white background with black and red bands.
Lindsey Pike had very beautiful Ornate Uros as usual. They were fun to play with- they thought my pink fingernails were some sort of food they couldn't live without.
We heard a tremendous squealing from the back of the building. At first I thought it was a guinea pig, but it kept on, and on, and on. People were starting to head that direction. We joked that it was being fed to something! Katie guessed correctly that it was a real piglet, and we saw him being carried out by his new owners, still screaming...
There were camels there. We tried to get Joe to ride one, but he wouldn't.
There was an excellent assortment of water turtles.
I was looking at a table of Okeetees, thinking how outstanding they were, and glanced up to see Lee Abbott. Should have known.
Saw some granite Spotted Pythons- very beautiful!
I admired some hairless rats, and was admonished that they weren't feeders!
Georgia Bearded Dragons had outstanding dragons, as usual. They are simply the prettiest out there.
I saw an albino leucistic Texas Rat. I didn't know there was such a thing. It had pink eyes.
Joe, Katie, Mike and I adjourned for lunch to Wing House.
And that's the wrap up!
