No doubt. Every time I'm within range, I palpate his veins like crazy. I get away with it for a few minutes before he realizes what I'm doing and bats my hand away. I can't help it though! They're so squishy!

Oh no, no, no. No need to apologize my friend. I meant that I did not use the words narcissism or narcissistic, because I felt that if I did,
I would sound like I was accusing someone of being guilty of narcissism, or being overly narcissistic. :poke: :eek: :duck: :rolleyes: ;)
Besides, Dave, I know you are a much more complicated, multi-faceted person than that.

The thing is, he looks damn good. He has every right to be full of himself, but isn't.
I just love the hotties that don't think they're hot. :D They're so much nicer than the one's that "KNOW" they're all that and a bag of chips, but they really aren't worth their weight in kool-aid.

Excellent point. And it goes for handsome men and beautiful women. A total lack of awareness of it takes the beauty to a whole next level.

The opposite case being the man or women, no matter how strikingly beautiful of face or body, that is so busy watching everyone watch them, so grotesquely self-aware/self-conscious. An instant, total, and permanent turnoff.

I dug very deep! Thats one of my favorite pictures of you. I know how much you loved Simon, and that picture conveys the quality of relationship you had with him. It also shows the intensity of your eyes. If I could have found the pic you posted of Zayne's 1st road cruise with you holding the kingsnake in front of her, I'd have posted that one too. The adoring and nurturing father figure introduces the innocent and curious easel to the wonders of herpetology... I love it!

Wow... I just re-read that, and hope I'm not giving you the wrong idea! Though I do adore you my friend, and you are a handsome man ;)

And yea...I looked at that picture again, and it isn't that old. Maybe a year...I haven't changed a bit...except I can't find that Fender shirt for the life of me...

I consider myself very "homely looking" with harsh features, skinny legs and pasty skin. Apparently the way I look makes people very nervous, which makes me insecure! :( I would definately try to change that if I could to make others feel more comfortable around me.

I'm also very out of shape. I went from playing or practicing softball, basketball, and rugby (I was a runner) for 6 hours a day at least to doing absolutely nothing for a whole year and it has taken it's toll on my confidence. However...I don't hate the way I look...I'm just incredibly insecure about how I look. I even purposely "dress down" to avoid drawing attention.

As far as fixing it..I could wear make up. And also, since my health is improving, I have been able to exercise, which will get me back in shape.
 
Ah, make-up! Every pic you guys see of me, I'm wearing it and yet it's a rarity for me to wear it. I raised that a girl is not supposed to leave the house without a full face and hair done perfectly. I did that for years and years! Even to just take the trash outside or check the mail. Now......bleh! If I'm going somewhere nice with the hubs or there's some big school event, then I'll do my face and fix my hair up. Other than that I don't do anything other than wash my face and slap some lotion on it. I think y'all would be shocked to see me sans red lips and mascara!
 
I have the complete inability to be narcissistic in any way shape or form. I even feel guilty for looking in mirrors anywhere in public or at someone else's house.

I am one of these girls who rolls out of bed in the morning without a care in the world. I have a mad hippy mop for hair. It's frizzy and wavy and long but it sits just fine. I can't remember the last time I used a brush, fingers all the way!

I am slightly overweight. I have stretch marks from when I was clinically obese. I got myself in shape and lost over 3 stone in the last 2 years. I eat crap, drink beer with the boys and don't exercise much at all. But my weight is stable and I am happy enough.

Looks really do mean nothing to me....
