Not bad, even with all that yellow, lol.....

That *thunk* you just heard was my jaw hitting the keyboard! They're gorgeous! I adore colorful snows and these are quite something special. ( Your photography is grand, also.) Where did you get these gorgeous creatures, O fortunate Captain?

Thank you, these came from Brent aka Drizz

Thanks for the update Joe! They are looking gorgeous. With all that yellow, the pink looks more peach!

Those Ice look great! Mine are still pretty dark but they are about a month behind yours, so hopefully they get that great coloration too...

Not that I know of.

However, my Lava Amel het anery bred to my Ice het amel....so if the eggs go well, I should see some 100% homozygous Lava Snows and we'll get to see how they look.

Cool, I was trying to go by signs, so my guess was that the male might be Homo Lava just because he has the jagged saddles and a dark ruby eye, plus he has more color, but males and females look different anyway with the lava gene. The female has the classic uniform pattern, light pink eyes, and light coloration...

These are gorgeous animals. I may have to get in line for a pair of lmaybe-lava snows.
Are you planning test breedings to determine het/homo status?

Some day, but since these are '08's probably not any time soon. They are eating small adult mice already so maybe the male next year if he's interested....
