I know how a lot of you look and I know what a lot of you keep, but I don't know how you sound....
Sometimes I try to imagine how your accent sounds as I read your posts... LOL
I know you have as many different accents as we have over here, so I thought I would start an accent thread....
This is my accent....:cool: South Wales
So now you can imagine my voice as you read my threads..... :grin01:
 
LOL I would never be able find an example of my accent to post. Born in the US moved to Guatemala at 2 1/2 years grew up speaking both English and Spanish but I have an accent in both. Nobody who tries to guess where I am from ever gets it right but I have gotten wild guesses like New Zealand, Argentina, Ireland to name a few.

I'm from AZ...I really don't have an accent. Well, sometimes I pick up a Wisconsin accent when I'm around my family and a Pittsburgh accent when I'm with my girlfriend's family. But, for the most part, I'm accent free!

Use the voice recorder on your phone or the video camera and up load to youtube....

I sound just like Arnold (get to ze choppa'), with a little bit of George Dubya sprinkled in the mix... You couldn't tell, I post here all the time. Strange combo I know, but a beautiful one none the less. You should here me sing!
 
i was born and raised outside of pittsburgh and i never knew i had an accent till i moved to buffalo ny when i was 13. they said i sounded southern? wth. i didnt know PA was that south compared to NY. lol. so i guess i have a "pittsburgh" accent.
 
Mike, I don't have sound on my comp, but I think I know how you sound.
I used to watch BBC America for the accents...before I fell in love with Torchwood, Dr Who and Being Human.....

My accent is awful. Kind of harsh and we tend not to pronounce our "r"s....

Thats some class TV you have been watching... Did you enjoy Torchwood and Being Human? They are two quirky shows.....

Being Human is new over here, and so far I like it very much.

I am a Torchwood FREAK!!! I am hoping and praying for a 4th season, I'm dying to know what happens after Children of Earth.

I recently got a pewter I named Ianto ...that death scene shattered me!
 
Nice accent.... Now we are getting nearer..... But I want to here you guys speak....
You guys would love Snake Daves accent.... His diction is superb and he speaks very well.....
 
Living in New England I would say people here have normal American accents. Some people here in NH have a slightly hickish accent, but most don't!.
