exactly right Kels88. It would appear both parents are het caramel and lavender...in real light the three "gray" snakes have a rather purplish hue... So the question is this- is the father ultra or ultramel? if hes ultramel then there should be opals and butters, if ultra then gold dust and ultramel lavenders...I've not seen an opal hatchling so wouldn't know. Two of the "grays" have dark eyes, and at least one of them has a ruby pupil. The third "gray" is a lighter shade of purple with red eyes.

So if he is Ultra who has seen a gold dust lavender to say what they look like? Are those that look like butters actually gold dusts? WHat about the red eyes? how would I distinguish amels from utramels (butters from gold dusts) if they all have red eyes?
If that isnt complicated enough how about if the father is ultramel and not ultra??
